I wonder why Gaijin can't fine tune the BR of planes? Why only .0 .3 and .7, they could add more brackets to fine tune shit out like 11.0, 11.3, 11.5, 11.7, 12.0. There is more than 1 example of planes being an absolute menace at 10.3 and absolute dogshit at 10.7-11.0.

Same thing with the F4U-4, the 50 cal version is an insanely low br for how good the plane is because no cannons, while the F4U-4B is very viable at it's much higher br and is really not that much better. I'm honestly surprised the F2G has kept it's 6.0 br because of this.

7:40 a5c moved up because they added firebombs, which can fully take out 2 bases. Before, the full bomb+rocket loadout cant even kill 1 base (like only 70% dmg). This significantly inflated its score which we know is a big factor of what they balance with

@@z8achthonderd844 daily reminder that this is not the first time a jet has moved up that much. The F-4J UK went up to 12.0 from 11.3 when it was one of the worst 11.3s as is. The Kurnass 2000 went from 11.3 to 12.3 for absolutely zero reason when better jets exist down at 12.0 This isn't a J35XS exclusive issue, this plane isn't some hate boner target for gaijin. The only reason the J35XS stood out so much at 11.3 as a bad plane is lack of RWR against F-14As (a problem that was not even exclusive to it for the longest time)

The Etendard IVM still stays at 9.0 and that plane can be pretty fucking bonkers if you use it properly. You literally leave even early afterburner jets in the dust. Just have to get used to mainly mouse-flying the thing when in a dive due to the buggy elevator.

In sim, the su27 can only face planes that carry fox3's. I know this br shift hasn't been mentioned in regards to sim, but I'd highly support it going to 13.0. The flight model is worse than most below it and the missiles are worse than everything above it. With sim, the br brackets shift every few days. So at 13.0, it would face planes more comparable to it in terms of loadout whether the bracket is 13.0-13.7 or 12.0-13.0. Yes, in 12.0-13.0, it will be king, but at its current BR, it is the underdog in EVERY regard. RWR, Radar, Loadout (no fox3s), and flight model.

Moving shit up and down does very little to change anything, since vehicles are always stuck on a large range of matchmaking (1.0) and will always be either clubbing or getting stomped. True decompression will only start to happen when matchmaker range is reduced to 0.7 range. The vast majority of problems with compression are always felt on the -1.0/+1.0 ranges. Most uptiers to 0.7 are perfectly playable, save for some exceptions...

I still think all French coastals are badly overbr'd. Gaijin tried very hard NOT to give any of the boats 40mm. Like the L9059 is pure pain to play. VLT-2 is straight up P2W upgrade of the VLT-1. And the torpedoes are not that good either, the gun layout sucks, not that fast, and still have a wooden hull. There is zero qualities to look out for this tech tree. Like at least give 91kmh BASE speed before upgrades for the boats on realistic.

Still don't know why J35XS is not 10.3 or 10.7, its almost the same aircraft then J35D with 2 extra missiles. The MiG-23ML that is the premium version of the MiG-23MLA and MLD have the same BR of the Tech Tree ones.

It wouldn't help the Pay-to-win allegations in the slightest, the 35XS is objectively better than the 35D, the only downside is losing the left cannon while the upsides is more missiles and countermeasures.

No changes in sim BR’s? Su-27 and J-11 at 13.3 in sim made these planes completely useless (literally) cause of how matchmaking in sim works. While planes that are waaaaaaay better than these 2 (at least in sim, I’d say that they are better in RB too but gap is very narrow in RB cause of existence of markers) sit at 13.0 (F-15A, Gripen’s, M4K)

idk why su7s going up is considered good. Its not supersonic with a load. Doesn't have much ammo. Can't turn. No a-a. I really wanted to play them but once i got them i realized that you constantly face things that rape you in every instance. Its only good for ground striking with 500kg bombs or s24 rockets, but to get them you need to start stock with guns lmao.

I can comment for the ground RB changes. It does absolutely nothing except for the few vehicles that got a lower BR, the rest will continue the same.

I like some of these changes. F-16A for US NEEDED to go down because only 9Ls vs top tier just did not work. F-16A ADF going down makes sense because its worse than the f15A at like everything except for maneuverability. The F14s going up is amazing

As someone who just got my first top tier in the Japanese F-16 I am so glad that it is getting changed in br even if it is only minor one. Other F-16 have much better missile loadouts and can handle the other weapons more compared to one of the earlier F-16 added to the game. Also why is the T2 going up when it has no flares?

I actually love these changes, the reason the F-14A IRIAF is going to 12.7 is because it only has AIM-9Ps the F-14B gets Ls which are all aspect, longer range and more maneuvreable. The F-16s are finally playable again. The J35XS is actually playable again. No more Phoenixes and having flares and more missiles make the 0.7 increase to the tech tree one logical

F14B should probably get its 9Ms. Its at the Same BR now as the F3 late. Which has B model Fox3s and 9Ms on an inferior airframe. But i guess they saving the 9Ms for the D model.

I just unlocked the f4j a few weeks ago and had to do air assault to unlock the aim 7e-2s so I could get any kills in arb against the hordes of f14s. Probably the roughest stock grind I've had so far. Once you unlock radar missiles and get used to multipathing the f4j honestly isn't that bad imo, or maybe I just haven't played against a competent f14 player in awhile. But It'll be nice not having to constantly hug the ground to survive the fakour 90 spam. I was hoping I'd get to fly the f4j not drive it lol

@@Fallen77769 yea man I unlocked it 4 days ago and it's a pain I had to go through so much suffering to get aim7e2 and man the starting is so bad and I have never experienced f14 so I died almost every game sometimes with mig 23 etc but then I finally unlocked aim7e2 yesterday but couldn't get used to them before today but today I'm almost there to get aim7f I got bombs and now I am able to get at least 2 kills and a base per match so yea it's alr now

@@Pranjaythegamer My advice for surviving the f14s is to turn on Radar Altitude in your settings and do your best to stay under 60 meters altitude whenever you can (not always possible on maps with super tall trees) and terrain can also help for avoiding fakour 90s. It's not the most fun gameplay but it 100% works. Especially if you have the issue of dying to fakour 90s at the start of the match from 30km away staying low will save you the majority of the time. I'll pop up for a second to fire off a radar missile in a head on but once the missile is launched I go back to hugging the ground as fast as I can. This technique will also save you from other types of radar missiles however it will not protect you from IR missiles so it's important to identify which type of missile you're being shot at with. For IR missiles it doesn't matter how low you are you still need to dodge and flare them. Generally if you're getting shot at in a head on (especially from long range) it's likely a radar missile, and if you're being shot at from the rear it's likely to be an IR missile. This isn't always true but more often than not it will be.
