As an American main, the M901 was game changing when getting those thermal optics. Playing with the TOW while also using the M551's & M60A2's Shillelagh made games that were earning me 30k SL on a bad game and 50k-75K SL on a great game. Include the A-4E's Walleye guided bombs for CAS in a ground RB game and you've got a serious combination that absolutely wipes the floor with other countries at that BR.

35:34 APDS-FS is a regular APDS with fins, therefore making it APFSDS, but not in a traditional way, traditional APFSDS is lenghtened, this is why it has relatively poor penetration for a 30mm apfsds. even warriors ***regular*** APDS has more pen.

The firecrest is genuinely one of the best aircraft in tank RB. All of the german open topped and panzer tanks with 10mm of roof armor make it very effective at cas with some of the best dogfighting performance for a plane equipped with more than one 12.7mm

And for the 262 A1a/U1, with the all the cannons in the nose, set different key bindings to each of the cannons. That way you have control over which cannon (specifically the 30mm) gets used for what. I always refer to the MK103 as the good 30mm. The MK108 is good for planes, nothing else.

Fire extinguishers really do just suck unless you get really lucky and manage to survive, preferably in something that has a second engine. I can never rely on it for anything. I do have to admit that in the rare case that it does actually save you, it is nice. though.

Air RB player here I'm a big german WWII plane enthusiast and most 262s get the mk 108s which are good on planes just not fast moving jets the mk 108s are only ever really great if you get the jets slow otherwise they are very hard to hit. The mk 108s do decimate anything you hit tho with universal belts c: you might not do much dmg with default belts tho. But the mk 103s have amazing ballistics and if you know how to fly the 262 the mk 103s are a huge upgrade from the mk 108s

Genuine hot take maybe, but i quite enjoy the firecrest. Back in the day, it was criminally over brd, at i think 3.3. Even then it had a pretty strong engine, but now at the lower br, the engine is very good, M3 .50s are very good with the higher fire rate and better damage, and it still turns fairly decently

I actually feel that the 262 is very strong for air realistic, it gets an air spawn and can just about get on the same level as SU-11s, the cannons are a bit funny because you get 6 of them, they spread out a lot and they deal a lot of damage so all you have to do to get a kill is lead them in the rough direction and just spray, even if only 1 shell hits it will atleast crit the other guy and the flightmodel isnt even that bad as long as you avoid furballs and boom and zoom

my first Squadron vehicle was the 262 and at first. i hated it it was clunky slow and i was constantly fighting things that i had zero way to counter. but now since its 7.3 it fits SEEMLESSLY into my 7.7 german lineup and ive done much better in ground RB working as a Semi-CAS/Anti-CAS role. and i have to say, its my best jet so far, and i own the F-4S

minor error, the Swiss Hunter 58 has AIM-9Ps, not AIM-9Js. Its such a minor difference that it doesnt matter, but the Ps can be slaved to the radar so that can be useful

I used the Sea Harrier for grinding to British top planes. Due to the very good low speed thrust you can climb quite well and drop Aim-9Ls on low flying enemies that don´t see your missiles coming. I often got 2-3 kills right after the start of the match just because I launched missiles at the enemy base bombing train

Use it in head-ons. It shreds anything, so you can basically get 2-3 kills at the very start of the game, and then do that again. Thus, you can grind events pretty fast

The Me-262 is easily A tier imo. It's by far the best CAS around its BR, and you can very easily destroy tons of open top or weakly armored enemies, while having the agility advantage over something like a Do335. If you want to cannon CAS, the squadron 262 variant is definitely the ultimate WW2 airplane.

If i may add, the F-5E CU should be in a tier above S though the reasoning is a little niche. In Sim battles, this thing is a literal god. Something not mentioned in the video is the RWR it has access too, being a NATO IFF RWR. For those unaware that means it tells you the plane type pinging you, so "F4" or "M2K" or "F14" etc. The advantage this gives you in the air Sim game mode against NATO planes in immeasurable. This alone essentially gives you absolute impunity to fly around the whole map with your radar off and able to sneak up on all enemies, tracking them with an insanely good RWR. With its ability to out perform every plane in its BR for flight performance and even punch up to 11.7 against the M2Ks... its incredible. Granted the RWR doesn't really serve a huge advantage other then ground RB for detecting incoming enemy planes and AAA, and in Sim. Though personally.... I'd give it S+

me262 a-1a/u1 is great for air RB in my opinion. when spaded you can do some decent maneuvers and avoid gunfire, but most importantly the guns here SHREAD anything it comes in contact with. a single well placed 30mm shot can oneshot a aircraft, and you got almost 300 shots of them. you can esally stack up kills with this aircraft

personal best 4 planes 5 tanks and 5 assists after I fully researched all of the equipment. I love the plane but only if you manage to carry the speed above 500kmh you can do decent things but if you drop under that you are done. Hit and run tactics work like a charm.

The M901 can actually be pretty good in niche situations. Say you've got a match where each team has their own cap point and the map has some good short cover. You can find an advantageous position overlooking a route the enemy will travel down in large numbers and pick off quite a few of them and then scurry back to the cap to rearm. Using the Su-22 for CAS, I tend to prefer the bombs. Iirc you get bomb CCIP which makes aiming them easy. I don't personally have this aircraft but I have the Su-17M2 which is more or less identical when it comes to CAS. An extra advantage of the Bhishma you didn't mention is that while it lacks the Shtora-1 soft kill APS, it gets extra ERA modules in their place which can actually save you once in a while. It's kontakt-5 with iirc 150mm of KE protection which can make the difference between some darts penning you or not. While the M1A1 AIM doesn't get a commander sight at all like most other M1A1s, you do get thermals in the M2 Browning sight when you select it as primary weapon. It's that little circular thing mounted next to it on its mount. This can be used as a makeshift CITV in some cases.

I think the grenade launcher on the BMP-2M is actually kind of a balancing feature. The ammo for it is stored right on top of the turret which makes it a pretty easily kill when one of these is hull down. When playing it I've actually tried putting this theory into practice by emptying the entire GL ammo before going into battle and it made a small but noticeable difference in survivability. I am quite fond of it but it's not my favorite IFV. Lynx is better imo.

The only issue I have with the Firecrest is the lack of durability. I swear if I sneeze my tail falls off and it's crash time. I have otherwise not had issue with the weapons system or maneuverability. Then again I have, when paired with a good squad of platers, been effective and gotten kills with Hurricanes at a BR two and three points higher than their actual BR. In those teamwork and communication was key though.

Important note about the M901, since it is a M113 chassis and Gaijin hates it, it will struggle to go up most inclines your normal tanks might, keep that in mind too. (Also it should be W-E tier)

You forgot, for me a big advantage on the BMP-2M. Because it can lock onto enemy aircrafts and kill them with its main or just shoot one of its 8 ATGMs (4×2) which surprisingly hit quite well even onto moving planes if they don't manoeuvre that much. I know you just forgot to mention it but that's why I made this comment, to let others know it can lock onto enemy aircrafts.

In naval arcade u can see what lineups a player used The squadron SKR 7 is often the only top tier vehicle a player have Imagine the majority of ground RB 10.0 matches with 3 Soviet players who spawn in the BMP2m, a bt5, and a kv1 (or only a BMP2m) That's basically the situation with the SKR7 bc ppl buy it so often
