We must preserve our royal heritage…and not allow this desecration. …Portuguese traders from their colony in Goa started to ship Arabian Stallions from Oman to the stable of Krishna Deva Raya -600 years ago. Similarly Deva Rayas dalavoy , his highness , the Wodeyar Maharaja also followed suit by setting up this stud farm in Kunigal to supply horses to the Mysore Royal Cavalry . This stud farm was continued by Tipu Sultan and finally purchased by Vijay Mallya

This is just a land grab by the govt. This place is 70kms from Bangalore, who is going to live in a integrated township here and how is it going to decongest Bangalore. This is stuff that comes out of a horses behind. On a side note the anchor reminds one of the famous Kondapalli Wooden Dancing Doll
