George solo, wow ❤🤘🇮🇹
@marlonennes120611 ай бұрын
Ringo absolutely nailed it on this one. On the drums, on the voice and on the composition. Really lovely and creative lyrics. George also contributes a lot, so do Paul and John. Octopus's garden doesn't get the recognition it deserves.

He nails it on everything he ever did,all these idiots that say anything about his playing no nothing about playing music,if the best and most technical drummer in the world played drums on the Beatles songs they wouldn't sound anything like Ringo , Ringo is the ONLY drummer that could make those songs MAGICAL, that's why he is one of the best drummers in the World he invented Rock drumming ,that's why most top drummers in the World LOVE Ringo Like Jim Keltner Bonham and so many more , nobody sounds like him the amount of drummers that CAN'T play Help or especially act naturally , they just can't do it ,if you watch Ringo play act naturally live he makes it look like the easiest drumming , but to play what he's playing is very difficult even for the the best drummers all drummers should practice it to see if they could even get close to his FLUENCY in that song lots of bands test their drummers with that exact song especially the drummers who think they have supper chops they all fall.LOL 💜💛💚🤍🧡❤️💜✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️🌞🌜🌟🌎🌸🌼🌴🌳☺️

On some of the harmonies, I think it's John but it's really George. Probably similar range but George's voice is warmer and smoother. It's essentially a country song at the core, except with British voices.

finally! The rhythm guitar is separate from the lead!!
@markgroesbeck2717 Жыл бұрын
First thing I noticed too was the separation of lead & rhythm guitar(s). I’m guessing each was on a separate track rather than bounced down to one track to create more room on a smaller multitrack. Question: what app r u using to desperate instruments? I have a subscription to Moises which crudely separates instruments- not like this. Thanks!
@JakeEllison-rs3dp Жыл бұрын
@@markgroesbeck2717 When they recorded Abbey Road they used a 8-track tape machine, so you could have 8 tracks. They were able to record the rhythm and lead on separate tracks. And on how to get them, you can try to see if they were panned differently and then isolate the guitar from that with Moises, or grab them from The Beatles: Rockband multitracks, which is what this video uses.

I'm always impressed how much compression they put on everything but specially on drum and bass and yet, the overall mix remains very punchy and dynamic. It seems that they passed everything through a very beautifully sounding limiter. I never noticed how out of tune the piano is but it fits right in.
