Hunter said DAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have put up all my bench/table top decorations up, the tree is tomorrow! We Valentines love us a bit of Christmas alright! I think that third generation girl is going to carry on the traditions we all love, number 1. Put the tree up early. 2. Put as many decorations around as pos. 3. Just love that Santa to bits. Hahahaha! Awesome! I use to go out in the evening and walk around the block and I saw that some people have already decorated the windows with Christmas lights. First I thought: waaait a minute, this is way too early! And then I realized that Christmas is now more of a mood. It is a spirit meant to cheer you up during the long, cold, grey nights of winter. Without Christmas winter here would be sad and almost unbearable. We should celebrate and decorate as soon the night is longer than the day and the temperatures drop under 10 degrees Celsius. :) I love you guys. You are wonderful people.

We put our tree up the 14th. While we aren’t world travelers we do have a special Christmas tradition we started when the children were born. We give one another a Christmas ornament every year. They’re sometimes crazy ones and sometimes beautiful,but we love them all. Hunter is adorable!🎄✨😊

That's one of our traditions, to lay under the tree after it's decorated. I re-watched the first word from my phone and listened in... She's got all the letters in that first real word! Congratulations DAD. Sorry Mum.

We also have a collection of Christmas ornaments we collect on our travels but many did not start out as tree ornaments. My favourite is a tiny complete edition of A Christmas Carol from 1914 that we found in Borough Market in London UK. The binding was broken so I carefully placed a piece of thin ribbon in the binding forming a loop then carefully glued the binding back together. It is the best ornament ever! It's also my favourite story and Christmas movie!! We normally get our tree up towards the end of November so that we can enjoy if for a decent amount of time! Love you guys!!!

I love this vlog!!! I haven't put up my Christmas tree or decorations yet because I live in the US and we still have Thanksgiving. I always do it December 1st. I have watched almost every Christmas movie and cartoon and have filled out all of my Christmas cards though! I love that you have collected ornaments from all over the world! My grandma used to get me an ornament every year with something related to what I was doing/interested in and then when I got married I started that tradition with my husband. It's always so much fun to look back on the different ones from all the years!

Happy late anniversary to you both. 2020 Has been really hard for so many of us I think. Hahah that Tim Horton's cup made me laugh. Tim Horton's was my first job I got when I was 17 and I worked there for 4 years. love these videos and I too love Christmas. I live in Canada about two hours from Toronto and it's starting to snow here. Your beautiful family makes 2020 a little more easy to manage. Little miss Hunter is so adorable. I'm only 23 and my partner is 24 but we want to have a family someday, in about 5 years after we have travelled and got our own home, and we want one or two. We both adore your channel very much and if we can't travel we can pretend we are through your videos lol. My fiance and I were supposed to go to Australia this month as he has lots of family there and he is from Brisbane originally. My partner and I have been together since January 2017 but were friends before that for about 3 years so six years all up with nearly 4 years being in a relationship. We met in high school too and he was a year above me but we didn't get to know each other properly until after graduation. It's funny how through school and mutual friends you can potentially meet your partner. We got engaged on Valentine's Day this year a month after our 3rd year relationship anniversary. We were supposed to get married at Lake Louise in Alberta, Canada on 10/10/2020 and spend 6 weeks in Australia and New Zealand for our honeymoon and experience my first Australian Christmas ever, but we have moved everything and now we're marrying on October 9th, 2021 because of the pandemic and in the best interests of everyone's health. I'm want to travel the world when it's safe and my fiance and I are planning Australia, New Zealand and Japan for 2021/22 if we're lucky. My fiance is a dual citizen of both Australia and Canada as he moved here to Canada when he was 13-years-old and has lived here the last 11 years. I've always had a snowy Christmas but I really want to experience a warm Aussie Christmas someday and go snorkelling and stuff. Thank you for your videos as always x

Beautiful... I will put up our decorations in 2 weeks.. On the first Advent weekend.. Which is when we light the first candle on the "Advent Kranz" which is a German tradition 🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️... So I mix UK and German traditions! (I am British living in Germany with half German kids). I did the same as you guys.. Bought Christmas tree decorations from all over the world when traveling... And I have some from my childhood and a few of my grandmothers 😊. I buy an orniment each year for my kids, it has to depicts something they are into... Eg digger, dinosaur, fossil, fish, ski lift etc.. They will be able to take them with them when they leave home😊😊.
