Another tip for decorative books from a librarian here : you can visit local libraries that have an in house book sale room or host regular fundraising book sales. Often books will be anywhere from 25 cents to 1 dollar and you can score some pretty books for displays or DIYs while also helping a good cause. The book covers are so easy to take off and some may already have their book jackets removed.

For those that wanted to know… on the Reindeer - I made one last night, I used 1 FULL skein of Yarn Bee Eternal Bliss yarn. It’s is 28 yards, 7 Jumbo size, and super fluffy yarn. Worked out great!

Great ideas! I love them all but the deer are my favorite. My grandson told me he loves the holidays starting with Halloween and and his absolute favorite part is getting together with family, the food and decorations at our house. The deer may just become part of our "something new" this year.

I have an idea too. The candy cane wreath wrap in black yarn and use them as the sleigh rungs for Santa's sleigh. Use foam board to make his sleigh.
