Thanks for the video! As you asked for thoughts on decorating. I love 2 and 3 tier trays a lot. I like to put all kinds of little things on them for whatever season you are in. Halloween, Fall and Christmas are about all I decorate for. I also like anything that acts as a riser and gives you multiple levels to look at. And then I do things together in odd numbers. 3,5,7 etc. For some reason odd numbers of items look better to a lot of people.

I have done my top Of cabinets like that for Years, and l tape leaves On the the doors, to make it look like falling Leaves comming down. One of my daughters Told me, I needed falling Leaves comming down.. So her and her sisters Did it. As years gone by I do it. But its random Put up. They as kids Cover it well. I was proud. With the brown, it will or May bring it all as one Decore. Bringing in The doors. But l like your Fullness of the decore. I just used the $ TREE LEAVES garland, had to get many to make it thick And long. But it worked. You have got such a good Eye, on picking out your Decore wants. Happy Halloween!

You can use your Fall decor for Thanksgiving. That’s what I do. I go straight into Halloween decor and use my Fall decor for Thanksgiving. When you were putting your floral bouquets together I kept thinking your “ Leatherface” was a person just sitting there lol. Then I realized that’s her Animatronic lol. You did a great job!

I'm in the same boat, where for years I've had spooky stuff out all year 'round without a lot of fall specific items to put out for Halloween. The autumn coloured leaves and pumpkins seem like the best bet for those fall vibes!

I also live in Florida! I keep some spooky stuff out all year and my house is fall colored all year round( burnt oranges, dark greens,reds and browns). Honestly don’t too much fall decorating just more fall foods. I always make mulled wine to start the season when I pull out my spooky tree and decorate!

You could paint the white skull planter black, just wrap the plant in a bag and then spray paint the planter. Or you could take some watered down brown paint and age him to look more spooky.

My home used to be fall colors rusts, golds, yellows, etc. I always had garlands of fall leaves on tops of kitchen cabinets with my antique canning jars nestled in. My island had a beautiful pottery bowl with green leaves on it full of fall mum silk flowers with mini straw bales scattered around. I also had a tall glass round vase filled with candy corn with stems of fall oak leaves and cattails tucked in to it. Was a cute item for sure! I lived in Naples Florida for several years.. wait till the frog gets under the rim of your toilet! Happened to me.. along with a couple little scorpions that snuck in a couple times.. 😳

Michaels did have classic fall leaves. I bought four packs but maybe yours was sold out and only had the one you bought. The plant you bought with the skull pot you can just drop that into another pot. You don’t have to carve it out. Just cover it with some moss or something when you put it in the new pot.

Both those candles are awesome. I decorate for fall. A little bit. I bought a lumpy orange pumpkin with green big lumps. I also got a white pumpkin with orange stripes and a typical orange pumpkin. They stay up until they rot which is after thanksgiving

As always, great video. Love your style, it's very similar to mine. I keep my home spooky 365, but I also like to incorporate other holidays as well. Above your cabinets look fantastic. Here are some tricks I've picked up along the way, hope it gives you some inspo! Fairy lights on timers are great for up there. Also, no need to buy plain pumpkins (unless you want too), you can use jack-o-lanterns up there, just turn the face to the wall. And you can use small boxes or book to add height to anything placed up there, the foliage can be used to hide it. Can't wait to see more decorating videos from you! 🖤🎃

If you have jackolantern pumpkins you can turn the faces to the wall for fall and Thanksgiving. Then you can turn them face out for Halloween. I always decorate for fall and then layer my Halloween on top. Then, for Thanksgiving, I remove my Halloween. You have inspired me to decorate my bedroom with Halloween and leave it that way.❤

Ok I do lots of Halloween stuff that can go through thanksgiving. Like jack-o’-lantern you can flip around and just be a pumpkin. Black cats on the porch with flowers all spring and summer then just put fall flowers then at Halloween add skeletons. My wreath is all clip ons just change it for the season.😊

I put my mini pumpkin collection in 2 giant lanturns on the floor of living room.I add mini LED lights mixed in lanterns. I put real pumpkins and false fall leaves in a vase The vase in between the 2 medium real pumkins one white pumkie one orange pumkie as a centerpiece on the island in my kitchen. I make a autumn wreath for my door. Acorns and mini pumkins around fall leaves and a pretty big fall ribbon.

I like to put my table stuff on decorative serving trays. Homegoods has a very cool tray that has ravens on it that I bought for my witch Teapot...cup...spooky candles ect.... It keeps everything confined and adds more fun lol. Its just an idea..and an excuse to buy a spooky tray.😅 We just have WAYYYYY TO MUCH FUN lolol 🖤🐈‍⬛🖤🐈‍⬛

Hey Cris, I’m right with you on Florida. The non stop heat and humidity along with the rain puts us all down sista! I’m just waiting for the humidity to go already. 😅 We need relief!! Adding fall accents and decor in your home does help. I usually have all the fall things up and spread around my home but this year I started with Halloween. The Halloween season comes so quickly and I just wanted to enjoy it longer. I do have fall decor up in some of my rooms but it’s mostly Halloween. Love that you put garland on top of your cabinets. I agree, maybe some pumpkins would be ideal. How about some Mickey pumpkins since you’re a Costco member? I also utilize the space above my cabinets. Currently I have large skull blow molds that I picked up from Home Goods. The lights light up Red. So cool! Another idea for Halloween is grab some of those Halloween hanging vines that you got from Michael’s (the green with black) and drape them like you did the fall garland. I purchased mine from At home. Even spooky moss would be fun to use. For someone who has never decorated for Fall, I think you’re off to a great start. I can’t wait to see you hang up your neon wall decor from Target. I wish that I had more space or those things would be mine as well. For now, I’ll admire yours. 💜🖤💜

For vases, Cris have you not see on Instagram people uses two different clear vases? Meaning one big one & a thin one, you put the thin vase in with the big one & then you use whatever...mix colour marbles, corns, or whatever you want with tinkle lights. If you can't find a vase you like

OK hear me out on this idea for the skull plant🤭 if you can paint it with a sponge, make it look kind of meaty. Then set it into a doll head (that has the top cut out like a planter). If you can find a cool doll head. Like a vintage one or something. Then if someone asks about it you can just pull up the plant and skull. 😎☺️💀
