tips for the ratan: soak in the warm water for 30 mins before you used. It will loosen up the ratan and make it easy when you manoeuvre the ratan. So when it dry it will shrink looks tight from the front. Saw this tips on Lonefox.

the kitchen cabinet is actually a desk!! we call them secretary in germany, they're kinda outdated but my grandparents have one. under the opening there are two wooden bars that you can pull out and "rest" the cabinet door on, that's the surface to use as a desk and write on :) inside you can store stationery etc, so when you open it up you have a whole work station 😊 you're so creative, I'm amazed how good the first cupboard looks. the two toned knobs are so pretty

I'm renovating my house completely including redoing the electricity and basically everything. But also while buying second hands furniture pieces and restaurating them and its so much fun. But mid century modern pieces are so expensive in Belgium, so I buy the really crappy ones and fix them 😂 it so much fun when you see the finished result and I might have found a new hobby lol

I love your projects.. especially the furniture ones.. a little tip.. use a little wood glue when putting the pieces together before you nail or screw them.. this makes the joints especially strong... also check out some other KZbin videos about joining pieces of wood and plastic or metal.. you guys do really good work.. Your ‘kitchen cabinet’ is actually a very typical Dutch desk! You placed your compurer screen in the middel compartment and when you didnt want you computer to be visible anymore (because desks were always in the living room) you closed the door!
