Tips when using resin: 1. Always wear gloves and mask and do your project in a well ventilated area. 2. Mix your resin slowly so that not many bubbles are formed. 3. Enjoy : )

Hi Qjin and Qwon! 🥺 Im not sure if youre going to read this but I noticed that you used your bare hands without gloves, and that you weren’t wearing masks or respirators either. I dont’ want to sound so police-y or too much like a know-it-all, but handling resin without masks or gloves can be very dangerous for your lungs and skin! It emits some very nasty fumes that are essentially plastic in your lungs when you inhale them, so please please wear respirators next time because I don’t want you two to get sick!!! 🥺

For the resin, a tip would be to use a lighter (the long ones so you don’t burn your hands) or a vacuum sealer to get rid of the bubbles. Another way is to just wait for the bubbles to disappear overtime before pouring but it could cause the resin to harden, or you could try to not pour the resin too intensely (really high and pouring it) and mixing the A and B part slowly. Hope it helps anyone!

Also heres a trick with resin... if you got bubbles, you want a lighter or blow torch to pop them as them come up so it can be as clear as crystal.

QQ!!! our table looks so cute! But you really should wear a ventilation mask (not the masks we wear for COVID, but more like the gas mask looking kind). Resin is extremely toxic and should be done outside if possible. If not, open all of your windows and get lots of air flow through the apartment! You should also wear rubber gloves/long sleeves and pants in case any spills on yourself. You did a really good job though!
