A while ago, maybe two years?, I wasn't doing very well mentally. I remember coming home every night, exhausted, sad and scared and I would watch your vlogmas videos. They gave me so much comfort and peace and I'll always be grateful for that. I'm in a much better place now but your videos are still so comforting. Thank you and Happy Holidays ❤

I have an awful life, you have brought so so much inspiration to me even though I can’t do those things, but in my mind it makes me happy to think if I only could. Fun!🎄 Tip for cooking bacon: line a cookie sheet with foil and bake in oven at 425 degrees. Takes about 10-15 mins (watch it close) and hardly any mess! Roll up foil and dispose of after grease solidifies. Cooking it this way keeps you from feeling all greasy! It’s a perfect way to cook for a crowd too! I do the entire pack on one big cookie sheet! Merry Christmas!🎁

I came here to suggest making it in the oven. The bacon cooks uniformly, and no splatters. I bought that mesh screen and I couldn't find s good way to wash it! The oven is best. You don't have to play with the bacon, just let it cook!

That's the only way my family and I cook bacon. We saw that on Barefoot Contessa about 5 years ago.. And we have been doing it in the oven ever since. It's the best way❤

I came to say the same. :) It's so much less mess, and I don't have to stand over the stove turning the bacon. Don't throw out the grease, though. I don't line my baking sheet either. Once bacon is cooked, I drain on a paper towel and prop my oven mitt under one end of my pan. I use a spatula to move all the grease to the lower end. When it cools, I pour into a coffee mug and set it by my stove and cover with a piece of plastic wrap. It can be used to fry eggs, steak, hotdogs, hamburgers, put in green beans, baked beans, and so much more. Both of my grandmas did this, and my momma still does this, I have been doing it for more than 40 years, and my children do this also. Both of my grandmas and my mom had a cute little container for theirs, though, that had the word grease embossed on it and a strainer in the top with a lid. I wish I could find one of those. Take brown sugar and rub all over bacon before putting into oven. It is a WOW! I am almost 100% Martha Stewart passed that along.

I start the Christmas season off watching Die Hard lol. I love the classics, too. I watched Die Hard for the first time about 6 years ago and loved it. Rudolph, Christmas Vacation, Home Alone, The Grinch, and Santa Clause Movies are a must, too.

One of my favorite Christmas movies is While You Were Sleeping. I also really love The Christmas Chronicles on Netflix, and of course, Love Actually and The Holiday. We need to keep our eyes out for a blow mold Santa in the right size that you can set in the sleigh. If you have a lot of packages to use that water activated tape on, put water in a bowl and a sponge to swipe on it. That’s what my mom did when she used a similar tape when framing her paintings.

Get a small glass dish full of water and a piece of kitchen sponge to wet your tape for your packages. The sponge can be wrung out so it doesn't drip.

I love the advent calendar for your fur baby. You might think about saving the box and throughout next year pick up small toys to add to it, since she loves toys so much. You can add in her favorite treats closer to the holiday season. Designate a small basket for those find specifically to keep track of where that are and how many you have and need, that way you aren’t searching when the holiday arrives in 2025.

For the tape, there is a dispenser that you can put the tape in and water in a section on the front. There is a sponge (?) that pulls the water up and activates the glue and then it has a sharp end that allows you to rip the tape in a straight line. I haven’t used it in a couple decades but I did use it in an office back then

You two you don't have to cook bacon on top of the stove put it in the oven on parchment paper or foil. I do it all the time it turns out very nice. put the oven on 400 degrees keep an eye on it and rotate it. Saves so much time. I love how Kinsley is involved with her little Christmas advent calendar.
