It’s nice to see a green, red and white traditional Christmas tree. Personally I’m just not a fan of pastel colors for Christmas or a Christmas tree so full of ornaments and other things you can’t see the actual tree. 👍👍👍🌲🎄

Jennifer, you have created a stunning look, WoW! I never have decorated in traditional colors. My go to until the past few years has always been a color and a metal, maybe an added white with tons of pics and textures. I very much disliked red or green. Even in the living room that I had my kids tree in, it was traditional colors but I didn’t actually decorate that one… lol. You may remember this but years ago Hobby Lobby used to have decorated trees up showcasing all their ornaments on the top of each of their displays. At the end of the season they sold the whole thing for one low price. Well I had my eye on this particular tree all season one year and I was able to catch it the day that put them for sale and I got it. I remember them wrapping this tree in pink suran wrap for me to take it home. I think I got it for the ornaments (I’m not quite sure), but I thought.. wow that’s a great idea… lol. I put it up and rewrapped it year after year and put it up for then… lol. I basically phoned in decorating! So when they got a bigger they had started gathering their own ornaments and getting trees in their rooms. The past several years have been mixed metals and/or neutral trees with different themes, I had started diy-ing a lot of them as well. Ok this is getting long now, sorry! So in the past couple years green has become one of my go to decor along with the neutrals in my home. So long story short I’m doing several trees this year and along with the rest of the world I started to desire a traditional look I guess, but I still haven’t really liked Christmas red, however I think burgundy is beautiful! So I decided my take would be to do a burgundy/gold tree and a separate tree with copper/bronze, plaid and all the greens ranging from sage to deep green in several textures and size ornaments and ribbon. I am decorating each in very new to me and unique ways along with 2 orders trees. However your red tree is so beautiful you might be changing my mind on red. Yours is a deeper red too though. Once again I’m sorry for this essay. Oh and I love that mirror!

I loved reading your "essay," and I wish I had known the saran wrap idea. Genius!! I used to decorate my office tree before I became a retired KZbinr and we had it on wheels so that we could put it still decorated in a storage room...having the saran wrap would have made that move so much easier. I too shy away from red especially, but this year the color really spoke to me. I don't like the garish red but a more subdued color between burgundy and all out cherry red. The video actually captures the red brighter than it is in person. Off camera, the tree is deep and richly colored. Sometimes video doesn't do something its true justice. I am the biggest fan of metallic ornaments. They go with everything and are just such a statement. I've been going through all my ornaments this year and donating some that just don't speak to me anymore. I think your burgundy and gold tree sounds amazing as well as the copper with the greens. Yum!! Those colors are going to be spectacular. I also have our bedroom tree to decorate, but I think I want to go very monochromatic on it with just whites and silvers, maybe some gold. First video of yours that I've seen! Really like your beads as an ornament idea! I enjoy the look of beaded garland, but sometimes it can be too heavy for what I want. This is a great idea! Beautiful tree!
