Hi Peter, thanks for watching! When we built our house, the best "Hamptons" looking air vent I could find was from ebay! I bought it and gave it to the builders when they were installing the cladding, as it needs to slot in. It is plastic, but we haven't had any problems with ours, and you can choose either the functional or non-functional version. Make sure you check which size you are buying and that it will be big enough. Anyway here's a link to a square one, it's the same type that we bought.
