I'm writing from a suburb of Chicago. We moved into our house in 2006. There were many wild rabbits on the backyard, very nice and friendly. But very soon they disappeared somewhere. There are a few left. We loved them. One rabbit spent the night outside the front door. Only later did we realize that they were all eaten by coyotes, which at night freely walked around the house. And now in 2021 there are only 1 or 2 rabbits around. All were caught by coyotes. It's a pity for the peaceful and friendly rabbits. We do not know how to deal with coyotes in our village. I prefer Rabbits not Coyotes at my backyard. (copy for every coyotes hunting)

They are sizing up the dogs and if given the chance will full on attack them. 2v2 are not great odds for the coyotes so being too aggressive is a bad idea for them. Sure they might win but the injuries occurred would be too impactfull on their survival to make it worth doing. Where there more of them though they would have surrounded the two dogs and killed them.

Only thing i don't like watching....is when the Predator will get up pretty close.... and the shooter 'Isn't prepared'.?? I mean...you had a few opportunities there....Coyote well within range...stands broadside....and the shooter needs to be 'ready'...to get a quick scope opportunity, put the crosshairs on target....not expect the animal to stand there and pose for 3 minutes...while you line it up.....and yet...several times... 'nothing....and we watch the animal sprint back to the tree line? frustrating. Take the Fucking Shot!!??.... other than that...nice kills.
