Decoying Crows | Busy Morning!! | Lots of Shots! | How to Shoot a Good Bag of Birds

This is probably the most birds we have seen all season!
I couldn't believe my eyes when we arrived at the field. If I had to guess a number.. Probably near 1000 corvids!
There was a good cross wind for where we chose to set up and the birds decoy well into a steady cross wind. A good wind also helps confuse the birds as to where the noise of the shot was from so we was set for a good day!
It was an action packed morning and we both shot well to build a good bag of birds which will have made the farmer very happy 😀

Howdy from Sacramento! Getting ready for the opener of dove season here in California on September 1. Your video has me getting excited! Those #5s sure put the smackdown on the crows. They are Teague Titanium ported extended in 1/2 5/8 but I would stick with 2 x 1/2 chokes. They are more than enough choke 👍

As your a left handed shooter and you buddy Jason is right handed, why dont you swap sides in the hide? Great video as usual boys and some great shooting. I'd like to see a video of you teaching your boss how to set up and shoot crows and pigeons, master and apprentice.

It’s easier for me being left handed to swing through my core left to right and the same the other way round for jas in theory. But to be honest it generally doesn’t bother us where we go 🤣 as long as we’re pulling the trigger we’re happy. We’ve shot for years together so very safe either way 👍 that would be interesting 🤣
