Yeah I couldn’t believe her “apology” either, I mean I already wasn’t expecting it to be good but this is beyond ridiculous. What does “I’ve seen worse downtown” supposed to be put in for, except to defend her actions because it isn’t “as bad”. That’s like robbing a bank and going “oh sorry, but people have MURDERED so mine isn’t as bad” like tf? We’re not having a tier list of what is worse, it’s all terrible to do regardless. And then her poorly written wall of text consisted of her denying her actions and using the same excuse of “I’m human like you all” and “I was drunk” which frankly pisses me off when it’s used. It has the energy of people that use abuse or mental health to excuse their behavior, just disgusting. Just say you messed up big time without sprinkling in some “I’m human” bs. The doxing and harassing her family is by no means okay but it’s hard to feel much sympathy when it’s clear she’s only upset that she got caught and feels as though the guy is responsible for the backlash that she brought on herself. I just hope this situation sticks in her conscience for a long while whenever she thinks of doing this again. This is a good reminder that (contrary to popular belief) bullies don't suffer from low self-esteem. They actually tend to suffer from excessively HIGH self-esteem, and she is a good example.
@Darknimbus310 ай бұрын
Don’t confuse self-esteem with ego. Both may be similar, but can be confused with one another to the untrained. The biggest difference is that self-esteem is nontoxic while ego can be very toxic (especially if kept unchecked) Bullies DO suffer from low self-esteem, and that have to make it up with excessively high ego. That’s why bullies are bullies. What she has is high ego, not high self-esteem.

Why do we insist on calling it fatherless behavior? My grandmother was widowed for a while before she met my step grandfather. My mother was the eldest of four children at 10 yrs old, and my grandmother was strict. Likewise, I was widowed at 35 yrs old with three children, and none of my children (whom are all adults now) behave in this manner. They are all productive members of society. It's how you raise your children, not who. Yes, two parents is ideal, but sometimes we don't have a choice but to raise them in a fatherless home. We can't raise the dead. It has more to do with raising children with morals, discipline, and a sense of responsibility. There are children with two parents who act out as well. It's the parenting skills (or lack thereof) that are responsible for how a child will turn out. As well as personal responsibility of those who choose to behave in this way. Society has begun to tell them that it's ok for them to act out because they are victims, and they have been allowing them to commit crimes and giving nothing but a slap on the wrist. It's no wonder we have repeat offenders out and about.
@parnpichate Жыл бұрын
@@jenx5870 - stop being so sensitive. It was a dig on multiple levels including race, and its a justified dig. @SerafinaTorgul Жыл бұрын
@@jenx5870 because the exception does not make the rule. Youre arguing to the exceptions whereas the rule is that MOST if not ALL of this is exactly that....FATHERLESS Behavior. And stop conflating two separate but easily misconstrued concepts - Not having a father figure doesnt always lead to this type of behavior, but this type of behavior is often the result of not having a strong father in the house. In other words, if you take all the people raised by single mothers as your starting point, not all will be miscreants. But if you take all the miscreants as your starting subset, MOST Of them will be raised by single mothers.

I’ve seen some fucked up shit in my neighborhood and when I heard her say that, I almost went “pfft!” out loud. Just cause you've “seen worse” doesn’t give you the right to break someone’s property, steal their money, and then scamper off like a little coward. It’s a shame that her parents would probably praise her for this kind of behavior.

She's being cyber bullied/stalked/harassed etc. And if only 0.1% of people from those 3m views (assume each is unique view) that's 3,000 people stalking and harassing her. She is now both a victim of her mistake, and victim of other people comitting crimes against her as some misguided attempt at vigilantism. Doxxing someone for the purpose of giving people access to harass/stalk/bully someone is illegal in some states (if not federally illegal) and can be prosecuted for such actions. She may have commit a petty crime, but she is now a victim of numerous crimes herself. As much as she may (or may not) deserve what's happening to her now, a victim she remains.
