In this video, I am demonstrating 2 methods used to decrease stitch count in a row or round of crochet stitches. The invisible decrease (dec) is commonly used to decrease stitch count when crocheting 3D shapes or Amigurumi. Crocheting 2 stitches together (sc2tog) is commonly used to decrease stitch count when crocheting in rows.
Both the invisible decrease and crocheting together methods have alternative steps for taller stitches, such as half-double or double crochet. And, you can use these methods to crochet more than 2 stitches together, as in sc3tog or 3dec.
