Hi TQVM . Can I ask if it’s a dangerous procedure because it seems that the battery can explode under certain circumstances during the disassembly

@@giantkiller8 I didn't know that and I'm not too sure. That would have to be looked up but I assume if there was damage to the battery like any battery it can explode from puncture right? This one was just dead/bent pins

Suggestion: keep the warranty next time and go through the manufacturer before attempting to fix the Garmin smartwatch. No dis but that is an expensive watch lol anyways peace

Thanks for the suggestion. True, but he has had it for probably over 8 years and I took it apart because it was expensive. I was able to find parts on other sites including eBay if I needed a new battery, which was the possible cause.
