This is great! Although kirby's voice doesn't really fit that well, since i guess he would sound more like a child, but, for example, DDD's voice is on point! Also, the comic is pretty great, it looks like it could be an episode of the anime (or maybe that's what it was going for) and the dub, along with music, sound effects, and all that stuff, makes it even better! I like it 👍

I personally think that Kirby shouldn't talk at all; basically everything he says could be said with facial expressions and gestures. Kirby is really expressive for how simple he is!

@@pikajade that's probably why he only speaks in kirby's avalanche and in the various official mangas, but never in the videogames or the anime (even Sakurai demanded that he wouldn't speak in that case). It's pretty hard to make a good comic without having the main character speak, so that's probably why they give him a voice in that case, but i'm personally fine with having him speak.

Kirby spoke in Avalanche, in that was by far the worst thing about the game, because he was written as a rotten little shit for no reason other than to be "hip with the kids".

Haltmann Works Company is the natural one to use again, if we want to keep the formula; it actually lends itself perfectly to the nature of the show, with them sending out new monsters every week. I wonder if maybe they weren’t just generic capitalists, but instead somewhat based off of NME? We could learn whether it was Meta Knight or Kirby that was made by Nightmare, and if it’s Meta Knight, then we can do some mangled version of the Void thing to explain why Kirby’s OP; if Kirby was the creation, then Haltmann Works Company might want to *capture* Kirby; their robotics might be better, but there’s a lot about monsters they don’t understand, and having a research subject would be useful for their goals- they could even try to play nice for it- after all, if they can get away with minimally invasive testing, no one will notice, and besides, babies are babies and they might be thinking that they could indoctrinate him into working for them, or at least induce enough learned helplessness to make him go along with any harmful testing. Galacta Knight could then be a failed attempt at copying Kirby, with a bunch of stuff thrown in to try to stabilize it because they didn’t get enough information needed to make a perfect copy.

I mean, Dedede really is more like squidward nowadays. In planet Robobot It's revealed Dedede still holds a long term grudge against Kirby. But lets also not forget about the recentish title Kirby Battle Royale, where the King himself committed an act out of actual malice intent towards Kirby. I take it Dedede just tolerates Kirby and knowingly he can't beat the kirbster for jack.

This actually does seem like something Dedede would do, especially the Dedede from the anime, even though this seems to be more based on the games. Even though Kirby and Dedede are pretty good friends, Dedede is still as greedy as ever; and besides, just opening a casino is fairly mild. Though, come to think of it, some of the comments Dedede made kinda make it seem like this is more based on Right Back At Ya... except, in the anime, Bandana Waddle Dee doesn't exist (Escargoon serves the purpose he served in this comic) and Kirby probably would've had Tiff and Tuff (I think those are their names) with him. This seems more like its own kinda thing, and I really like that!

I mean, the original Kirby's Dreamland the king stole all the food pretty much leaving the citizens to starve... in I think Kirby's dream course Dedede stole all the stars from the sky for whatever reason maybe just to be a dick? It's still something very bad cause the stars for sure must've been very powerful mcguffins. Superstar ultra he sent out all his minions to basically murder kirby in Revenge of the King mode but since all that failed, the king himself went under the alias as Masked dedede for a one on one deathmatch with electric ceiling fences n shit LOL. In Kirby fighters deluxe the pause screen establishes that Dedede still hates kirby and wants to hurt him. Lastly Star allies is nicknamed as Kirbys "Royal Nemesis". In terms of "impactful villainous ways" stealing an entire food supply, magical stars from the sky, and a deathmatch are pretty bad looks. Look he aint pure like good boi kirby. Metaknights a guy who I can say turned a new leaf but also's a dick from time to time.
