That's a very nice boat. Thanks for the tour. I live alone and could be very comfortable on her full-time. The Yanmars are a big plus, too. When I buy a boat I hope I can find what I'm looking for that's Yanmar or CAT-powered. Not that there aren't other great options, too. Just my preference. I've never done the Loop, but I've probably watched thousands of videos from those that have, and that size boat would probably be the _sweet spot_ for me. There is plenty of room, but also a reasonable draft, lower fuel costs, docking fees, etc. Cullen showing his under-cap view. 😂 Now that's a dedicated documentarian. 👍 Come for The Great Loop experience, stay for the special effects. 😂

Cullen ... This is a very nice boat. Nice size ... not too big, not too small. In great shape for its age. My only complaint would be ... no lower helm station. You have to drive from outside, protected only by the isinglass. It gets cold and wet when you're traveling on a cold day and you have to unzip the windows to see clearly, as you guys did on early days of this trip.

True But with enough prep and awareness I think the upper helm can be as comfortable as the cabin space It kept us warm and is now keeping us cool

We bought special sunglasses (with our prescription glasses) for the boat that stop a lot of the reflection. Use the cleat to hold the boat but don’t wrap it around.

Yes, I didn't have time to explain the cleat friction method in the moment. Safety information has to come first in a situation like that.
