Im working as a Data specialist and giving data analyst interviews for the past 3 months. I have working experience in Excel , 30% powerbi and 10% SQL basics. Most of the interviews they reject me for not having relevant work experience as either complete power bi or SQL or cloud platforms. I have serious doubts on how they select complete frehers ( different domain or career gap candidates). shashank please help me understand this. How do i overcome my obstacle of irrelevant work experience

At least people realize that govt job is a waste of time and instead opt for upskilling! Some so many people wait for 8 years to crack upsc and by then they would have lost 8 precious years, its better to upskill and do a honest job rather than going for a career which only leads to corruption, taking bribes and begging in front of MLA's

Thanks for bringing this story. Good to see her achievement in the end. But its sad reality that even highly educated people are wasting their high time and parents hard earned money in preparation only. Even after our education we kept on learning theories only in name of cracking govt exams. We need to focus on skills to make our country proud. Her voice sounded little bit irritating and annoying that might be the case for her rejection multiple times, may be its her natural dialect. At last she succeeded and that is commendable as in our society women get settled after these multiple failures.

Data science and data analytics are total different domain . If you are fresher then data science is not for you focus on analyst
