If you put an aim counter on an indestructible permanent, it'll never be destroyed, so haphazard will always hit a different permanent.

I'm a big fan of Storm of Saruman, so I'm gonna try this with Leyline Binding and Haphazard at the top end to clear the board.

I'm not understanding the "only once" part of the dedicated dollmaker card. What does it mean? Only once per turn? Only once during a whole game?

Purge is such a bad card to have in here! It takes away all your tokens! IMO either swap it with Battle of the Bywater or good old Wrath.

Given this deck is on the slower side, you need removal in the form of boardwipes ideally for those aggro decks that are faster, purge is cheap AND it allwos you to reuse dollmaker potentially to redo the combo from the getgo so I hard disagree with your stance, purge is probably the best/second best boardwipe in color (farewell could potentially be better/worse depending on what ya got on the field/what the enemy has) If we were in color I would have a preference over purge but that's because meathook would allow us to kill our tokens to potentially otk the enemy. I would prefer the deck to be black/white because then we could not only run meathook but also hopeless nightmare as something else we could flip with the dollmaker (since dollmaker is something we don't wanna drop on 2 usually cos we'd waste the etb) but also cos we could run porcine portent and maybe even go beseech toolbox or sheoldred + one ring if we wanted.

I agree with you on this. If you want this deck to be competitive in any way on the ladder you need to survive past turn 3 and 4, which is really where purge helps. Just because you have it late game doesn't mean you need to play it.

I think purge is really good in this deck. You need early mass removal in historic.
