i get reminded by comments like this. there have been quite a few people come and go since christ called me home.. whether in my personal life or whatever.. friends who would call me saying they want to give their life to christ in a moment of clarity.. just to fall back into the world less than a year later. there was this girl who dated a good friend of mine who came to me with steep allegations and wanted to live life for christ.. i was only in the faith for a year so i shouldnt have discipled anyone. yet its not up to any human to keep you in the faith. within a year that girl turned total anti christ even making a instagram called "TryToSaveASoul" to mock christ all because we would talk for an hour, give her all this advice and she would do the total opposite everytime so i just distanced myself. its not up to me to save a soul. Nobody discipled me! if salvation was predicated on the good doings of humans i would have renounced christ the second i studied kenneth copeland haha. people like dee1 are some of the few people i earnestly look up to as a brother who is unwavering in his faith. thats a rarity.

It’s about cultural norms and the behaviors we choose to accept versus the behaviors we reject. The neighborhood you raise your children in might have “room” for both lemonade stands and drug dealers. Would you just accept the dealers, then? Because there’s room? If you believe that something poses a threat to public welfare, then you don’t make space for it. It’s that simple.
