SHE shouldn t have touched the Big O classic if she cant pull it appropriately. SHE is a jazz singer. SHE was a soul singer during the disco craze, and her 2nd Atl album is great, the best cut being the near-masterpiece GOIN THRU THE MOTIONS. BUT that was a long time ago, and this band is stiff and turpid. Sth s just not THERE ! SHE should stick to jazz, the whole garb is also over the top. Times they are-a-changin ...but not 4 the better. . .
