Elena S. M. Canonico It’s kind of like the sequel. Besides the Pearl and Rose love aspect, Pearl raises him and she’s sometimes frustrated with him because like Ellen, they’re from two different places. Yes Tam was there when his mother died but will he remember it? Steven doesn’t remember Rose but he asks about her of what she did. Still makes sense? Did I loose ya already?

@@mayadg16 Tam was three years old. The age where people usually form memories. So, I do believe he would remember the incident. The sound of a gunshot is nothing you would forget, but he wouldn't comprehend what would happen till he was much older. But he would probably remember Kim, the woman who held him.

To my knowledge there's been 1 Vietnamese actress who played Kim on either Broadway, us tour, west end or UK tour. It was Thao Therese Nguyen who was a Kim alternative for the UK tour in 2019 I believe was the year.

No, DeeDee Magno Hall is not Vietnamese, she's Filipino American. A *very* large majority of the actresses who played the role of Kim in Miss Saigon were/are Filipino.

She is a Philippine native, which actually originally prevented her from being allowed by Actors Equity to reprise her role for Broadway(as they wanted to give priority to it's own members), before they soon recanted that decision in spite of the extensive but fruitless auditions producer Cameron Mackintosh conducted in America and Canada to find a suitable replacement for Lea.
