Singing is like speaking to her. It's almost like it's completely normal for her and without any effort while the rest of humanity struggles to sing. She so extraordinary. She's just born to do it. Pure talent, pure brilliant, so legendary.

@Nam Joon's_Brain_Wrinkles_Is_The_Epitomy_Of_Sexy You said it correctly! She's so good!!! Pitch-perfect! Pronunciation and everything. When you listen to her signing, you can clearly hear the words as she doesn't mumble. All words are sung clearly. Ms. Lea Salonga is just great!

And when she performed this, she didn't have her own child yet. Yet she captured the love and emotion of a mother so perfectly. She said in an interview that had she been a mom before she was cast in this show, she would have captured it even more. It's hard to imagine how she would outdo her own superb performance.

The entire musical was brilliant, but it still haunts me all these years later though I was adopted at 9 months by the best parents on earth, my biological mother, who I finally met in 2001 (I’m 49) is so full of regret, and sorrow over her leaving me to die.....a part of me hates her for almost killing me, even though she gave me life...do you know how it feels to be thrown away like trash?

You who I cradled in my arms You, asking as little as you can Little snip of a little man I know I'd give my life for you You didn't ask me to be born You, why should you learn of war or pain? To make sure you're not hurt again I swear I'll give my life for you I've tasted love beyond all fear And you should know it's love That brought you here And in one perfect night When the stars burned like new I knew what I must do I'll give you a million things I'll never own I'll give you a world to conquer when you're grown You will be who you want to be You can choose whatever heaven grants As long as you can have your chance I swear I'll give my life for you Sometimes I wake up Reaching for him I feel his shadow brush my head But there's just moonlight on my bed Was he a ghost, was he a lie? That made my body laugh and cry? Then by my side the proof I see His little one, gods of the sun Bring him to me! You will be who you want to be You, can choose whatever heaven grants As long as you can have your chance I swear I'll give my life for you No one can stop what I must do I swear I'll give my life for you! No grace, no hope No life, no hope No chance, no change (no regrets) No grace, no hope (no return, no goodbye) No life, no hope (no regrets, no return) No chance, no change (no goodbye, no regrets) One day (no return) one night (no goodbye) One day (no regrets) one night (no return) One day (no goodbye) one night (no regrets) One day!

I start crying as she sings “you who I’ve cradled in my arms”… I think of my sweet baby. He’s now 3 and without hesitation Would do what Kim did without a second thought. This song guts me.

I always rewatch this and it never fails to amaze me. I can watch this forever. This is my favorite performance ever, I mean the emotions, the vocals, the acting, the technique and everything is just perfectly done! I've always been a fan of Ms. Lea, and I'll always will. I'm still young but I admire her a lot. She's my role model.

I can not not cry even after hearing this song 100x. Every lyric and melody punches me in the gut. Especially after having a boy of my own. I would do the same for my baby. Id do anything to give Him the best life. I just can’t. This song. Tears me apart.

well her first talent is her Comm Skills. She has the diction and the accent, which is why you wont see a lea salonga impersonator in Philippines. But those who can mimic the accent may just be able to sound exactly like her, after all this is an act.

The whole play was uploaded 3 or 4 years ago. Then idiots rush to chop the show into bits and pieces and pretend like they own the copies. Somehow all those videos got reported. So it took years before they resurface. The whole video which was available for months was gone.

Miss Saigon was the first musical I ever saw performed live. I was only 10 years old but 27 years later I still remember every single moment and every single song. It has touched my heart so deeply. I have seen many musicals over the years but Miss Saigon, and Lea, will always have a special place in my heart.

This brings back so many good memories. Seeing Lea before I knew who she was. I left the theater with a tear in my eye recounting her performance. She just grew stronger from there. I worked in London back then and had no idea how lucky I was. Moving to the States, I would only get up to Broadway a few times a year.
