Fo SHIZZLE one of my favorites of this series. although the drumming is technically quite easy (ie, "four on the floor"-style chroruses) it's crazy amounts of fun and the energy is infectious; it just amps me up like little else to play this one, and I think it shows for sure :)

Ok I just can't leave without saying something. I actually watched the 2019 version first. In short, it was probably the best cover of any song I have ever heard on KZbin. Saying that the double bass drum beat after 2:51 in the last chorus was orgasmic would be an understatement. And the fact that you replicated it perfectly in the 2019 remake is absolutely incredible! Thank you Cobus for doing this song and drumming after all these years!

Years ago I stumbled upon Cobus just watching covers one night. Somehow I came across this one after enjoying some of his other covers. This performance is what sold me on Cobus. You can see in his expression that he loves the music. Some people comment on why he plays some of the songs that he does, but the answer is simple. He loves music. Keep playing, as you will always have a listener in me.

Every so often I come back and watch this video. The way it comes so naturally to him is so inspiring. This was the cover that gave me the final push to start learning to play drums 15 years ago. I saw how Cobus was playing absolutely out of his mind and loving every second of it, and I wanted to experience that myself. Although I never reached the level of proficiency that Cobus has, playing drums remains my dearest hobby to this day and even though time is precious with me being a dad now, when my schedule allows it I sneak out and lose myself jamming to my favourite tunes and have a blast. So I guess - thanks Cobus for inspiring me!

This was the cover I stumbled upon almost 14 years ago now that made me a fan of Cobus and drumming became a bigger thing for me than it ever was. Even after the awesome 2019 remake I come back to this once in a while just for the feels.
