yeah good shit. but doesn’t really work from a recording/song crafting standpoint. doing unnecessary drum fills on a part of a song that’s focusing on the vocal harmonies and quietness doesn’t make sense and only adds something that might distract the listener from the true focus. 🤷🏻♂️but then again i’m just a bass player..

Some weird censorship on the word "friction", but some fantastic drumming to make up for it (as expected).
@antnyneveruploads6 жыл бұрын
yeah that was strange. all the vocals sound a little off from the one I remember, as if it's a demo or something. maybe just the way the vocals were isolated when mixing in the drums?
@frederikhansendrums6 жыл бұрын
"Sugar, We're Goin Down (Guitars Down Version)" it says in the "music in this video section", so that's probably why it sounds a little weird :O
@cobuspotgieter6 жыл бұрын
No joke, for the past 13 years I've thought he sang "be the freak sh*t in your jeans" so I was like, sure, I'll censor this just to be safe (for the kids, you know). Now I find out he actually sings "friction". I'm laughing out loud. Also now I'm terrified of how many other lyrics I'm entirely oblivious to.

99.9% of the tracks I use for my covers are just the normal studio tracks (not drumless) but with this song I was able to find a drumless track online, my guess is that it's because the song was featured in Rock Band. Just Google it, shouldn't be hard to find!
