I'm sure this is the best pit energy at the race. Such a big deal. It takes real men and real strength to put egos and competition aside until the gate drop and after the checkered. It's a synergy that's good for all riders and makes everyone individually stronger and better within the team. I was very impressed with how Justin took taking second to Haiden. He seemed to genuinely smile when mentioning how good Haiden has gotten. He looked proud of him. That was the second most impressive thing I saw from Yamaha today. I'm sure Justin is a big part, one way or the other, of Haiden's development and motivation during practice to get as fast as he is. Cool scenes. Love to see Haiden so happy during race day. Unlike many guys who are all but forced into this career from a child, Haiden seems to truly love his career and what he does...the ups and the downs. Yeah Brian, you've come so far and achieved so much generationally with and since Metal Mulisha. Look at where all your hard work, dedication and guts got you...to a son who has taken the reigns and further made your name great. I love family stuff. I'm glad you do too, and made the most of what family and fathers are supposed to be. I wasn't just inspired to support Haiden because I knew he was a champion. I was inspired just as much by your relationship and how great of a father you are to him. Something I never knew and never will until I sit down beside my Heavenly One. Second consecutive podium!!! Epic day! Big fan of great insight and content. Sacramento was home until retiring to Portugal. Loved going to Hangtown and posting up on the gnarly off camber downhill section. Stay up until 1:00 am watching as my wife reminds me it’s being recorded. Exactly, so I can watch it again. Strong is smooth, and smooth is fast.

I believe the adage you meant was.. “Slow is smooth and Smooth is Fast”….lol it’s basically about how if you don’t go so hard on the throttle, you actually keep momentum and the suspension isn’t so loaded down so you just float over stuff and you actually go faster if you slow down a bit and Maintain Roll-Speed
