I went through a similar process where I got rejected from this dream job that I really wanted! I felt like it would change my life, make my life better, and also imagined how it would be like telling my friends and family and having them be proud of me! Then I got rejected because they wanted someone available immediately when in the job description they said that the job will start a month later (after I graduate) so it clashed as I still had to go to school and finish my degree. But better opportunities will come along, and this cycle will repeat. The most important thing imo having gone through this cycle countless times is that rejection is redirection and that all of these rejections or obstacles are taking you somewhere and you just have to continue to believe in yourself (no matter how hard haha), don't be stagnant, and not give up on yourself!! It's important to rest and recharge before getting back to it to better your mental health.

I love deemd and am a relatively new fan, but seeing her get a new car, and one that's actually her mom's but being given to her so easily, is a sobering realization that while this is a "life in korea" vlog, it's definitely a more wealthy, privileged one. I also was in the same situation two years ago. I needed to choose whether to do a PhD or to continue my job hunting which hadn't been successful. And I chose the first option and apart from studing also became a freelance worker. Now my thesis is nearly finished and I've been working for 4 months in a company where I wanted to work so much after my graduation. So cheer up! Some of these comments are making me mad. For example, “Where are the English subtitles?” “Hurry up with the English subtitles” etc. I understand that you guys want the English subtitles but why are you asking her in such a rude way? You’re supposed to be kind towards her. Please stop begging her for the English subtitles. She has a life outside of KZbin and she works really hard. She’s probably very busy right now. Why can’t you guys understand that? Be patient guys, come on now. Anyway, I’m very excited to watch this video when Deemd has the time to put up English subtitles. Deemd! I'm glad you're now in a new place that doesn't have the noise problems and that it continues like that. Also, about the job interview, it must have been really frustrating and sad, that indeed lowers one mood and it let us feeling not wanting to do anything, but there'll be more opportunities, for sure! :) So I hope you keep your hope and have trust in yourself, it can be done!
