I always do my snapseed stuff manually. The app has fantastic controls for that. I've never even thought of using it for text, much less fancy stuff like this! Great tutorial! I'll have to try this!

Great tips! This also gets a bit easier when you pair this editing with a stylus. Either a fine point capacitive on a regular phone, or a true Wacom or S-Pen with V60 or a Note.
