Awesome gold finds mum, the wet is still over here in the NT with the grass 2mtrs high I can't wait for it to dry out and burn off, I am still sleushing but only getting tiny flakes as I am processing preworked material to split into rubble and sand and gravel for the tracks over here after the wet. It sounds like I should bring my backhoe over to that spot and have a dig with you through that hill, it's a pity it would cost a fortune to transport it over there, ah well, keep up the good work and video's, have a good day, Leon

Hi Daniel. Thank you for the message. Im a little confused....you say they the 6000 is also capable for finding deep nuggets (depth?)..so what are the advantages of the 7000 ? over the 6000. Thank you for your knowledge sharing

As I stated the advantages of the 7 are stability and battery life. Depth is not an issue for either machine and i have not seen a noticeable difference between the 2...although the 7 is said to go deeper. Both machines are very capable, for new user's the 6k is easier ,and will find as much gold as the 7.. The 6 was made to detect small gold and it does that far better than the 7...you only have to watch a few videos to see that. Thanks mate, I know it's a bit confusing, was just as confused after we saw how good the 6 was , makes the 7 not so attractive given the price difference. At the end of the day you need to walk over the gold and that's not easy.

Which detector do you prefer to use.....Im new to this hobby..... im presuming your using the 6000 for less shallow targets.... In your opinion is the 7000 a good machine ? Thank for your input. Graham.

The 6 and the 7 are very capable detectors, I prefer the 7 for its battery life and stability, but deep signals come across mellow and you must be experienced with gold detection, where the 6k has shorter battery life, becomes unstable quickly so needs constant ground balancing, but signals come through well defined deep and shallow, and it's much lighter and easier to use than the 7..the 6k is very good for newbies IMO. Hope that helps 🙏

Hey mate, sorry for the late reply. I was out looking for the yellow. I'm not sure if I could help you with that . If you're interested in learning the 7000 better, maybe get in contact with Finder's Keeper's here in Kalgoorlie or maybe reeds prospecting in Perth as I'm pretty sure they do training courses. We usually drive another 3 hours into the Goldfields just to get the detectors out, so it's a bit of a mission usually . The 7000 is a very capable machine, if you walk over some gold it will definitely detect it regardless of your settings 👍. The hardest part is finding an area that hasn't been smashed by everyone else in years gone.
