We have a stove with knobs down low and I found plastic covers on amazon for them so my babies don't accidentally turn the gas on. I noticed your knobs were low too so you might like having something like that...thanks for sharing the decluttering motivation!! Definitely got me thinking of spaces in our home 😊

Yep. My mom did the same thing years ago. Gotta be extra careful when pulling out the stove ☹️ If you can’t glue the broken piece back in place then see if you can order a whole new strip piece and just replace the whole thing along your counter.

We use alot of reusable fabric bags for shopping purposes so i dont use many single use plastics. Its an easy switch to help the earth. But with covid and grocery deliveries i think alot more plastic bags are being used right now

I remember those days of little ones in the middle of cleaning LOL! Now a days the babies of 5 are 11 and 13 and I so wish I would have taught them to help UGH! Yours are obviously to young, but adorable! Oh yes tons of grocery bags but I do reuse mine for the cat litter and mess from the Foreman grill. I honestly collect more bags then I use! Hello Becky, First time watching. It might have been a few videos ago, but you asked what you can do about the grades and the burner caps on your stove. Obviously you can't do it now when you are pregnant, but when you get a chance what work for me is I pick up some ammonia from the Dollar store. You put all of the grades and caps in a good heavy duty bag and pour the ammonia into the bag making sure everything is submerged and soaking in overnight. It might take a couple of times, but it does work.

❤️🎉 Turned out great!!! Try a lazy susan for spices & a microwave plate topper. It’s like a dome that goes over the item cooking in the micro. Eliminates ever having to clean up explosions on the inside of your microwave.

Didn't know if you knew this but your utensil holder for your dishwasher can actually lay flat in the "lid" where you put your dishwasher cleaning in that little crease at the bottom I know how much you like to pile it in there lol figured it would save you some extra room to put more things

You should try your hand at maybe building (or a prefab kit) a pull out drawer for you pots and pans, also there are these amazing vertical racks for pots and pan lids and cookie sheets 👍🏼😉

My inexpensive solution to spices was to buy a cheap bin/box from ikea. That way I don't over buy spices , it tucks away in the cabinet and I can see what I have at once. Amazon does have some visually pleasing racks if you plan to display them.

Great video! For your spices you may want to try a lazy Susan or a few long and narrow plastic storage contains, so you can just pull out the container and easily see the spices in that container

For your spice cabinet a spice riser might be good so you can see everything you have. Or maybe get a small utencil holder you can have near the stove, and move the spices into the drawer with a spice mat organizer. I do know you don't love clutter on your countertops so this one isn't ideal. Just a thought. Also, just a random suggestion they have over the door pot lid holders as well. I feel mine is super helpful in utelizing my space.
