Love ALL types of creatures, I've had cats and dogs. We currently have a beagle mix, and we also have a parrot! They get along pretty well but need to be supervised when they're together! Oh, and I'm the opposite on vacuum lines. I get rid of them so it doesn't look like it was just vacuumed!

My kids are 16, 15, and 12 and I still help them clean and tidy their spaces at times. They are kids! Sometimes a room just needs some mama love anyways haha. It's easy to judge from behind a screen.. I think you are doing great!

I would also say, when I was a kid, whether my room was neat was totally unimportant to me... Once I moved into my own space (or maybe my second or third adult apartment) it suddenly mattered and I started making the decisions about cleaning. I don't think there are many kids who could really care less when they are in their parents' home.

My kids are right around the ages of yours (16,16, and 12). They keep their rooms 'tidy' for the most part but if I want them 'clean' then I go in and give them a mother's touch. Kids don't prioritize cleaning usually, and mine are hardly ever home so when they are they just want to enjoy their space. I can relate.

You should invest in a real ice maker. Find a Ferguson in your area and go to their showroom to look. They make nugget ice makers. It is an investment but so worth it. I should explain a little better. It’s a stand alone ice maker, similar to a small dorm fridge. So you would need space to put it. We have one and I absolutely love it.

Michelle, I love your videos and the music you use on them. I really enjoy it. Please don't explain yourself to your loyal viewers on how you and Chris raise your kids. Your kids will learn like the rest on us did in time to make their bed, put their clothes in laundry and yes clean up a bit after themselves. That time will come. They are still so young. Sue Wolfe- Oh I remember the days when my sons were little. All the fun things of childhood. Don't let too much bog you down, Michelle. They're only little once! If you want to control anything, you can put limits on toys that are out. Try rotating them so that there's less toys out a one time. Since you have so many demands on your time, you'd benefit, too from less to clean up. Enjoy your little one!!😉❤️

Hi Michelle, my hubby likes dogs and we both like cats, yrs ago. our son was into sonic the hedgehog, so we got him a hedgehog 🦔, and of course his name was sonic, but at that time they were illegal in PA where we live, so we did a quick drive across state lines to Jersey and got him one, such a cute pet. Lol. I would have your hubby do some research on the ice maker in your fridge, we had problems with ours in a 20 yr. Old Maytag, my hubby was able to order the part for less than 80 bucks and has been working great. Good luck. Enjoy your weekend. 👋🏻

I’m definitely a cat person. It started with wanting two cats. Then my sister in law had a friend that needed to rehome her cat. So we had three. The one cat that needed to be rehome ended up running off and we haven’t seen him since. Miss him terribly. Then the two I originally got I tried to get them spayed and neutered. The clinic I took them to said they couldn’t do the surgery due to both being dehydrated (since they can’t eat after midnight I put them in the bathroom with a litter box and two bowls of water. Guess they didn’t drink all night). Then the female went into heat and I couldn’t keep my male away from her. So she ended up with 4 kittens. So we now have 6 cats. I never meant to have that many. The kittens are now over 1 year old and have been fixed. We also have a dog. We’ve had him about 10 years now. He’s the sweetest dog ever!!

For me, cleaning motivation is your videos 😂 it gives me the satisfaction and motivation I need by watching how thorough and real you are as well as consistent! I noticed alot of cleaning/organising youtubers aren't as specific as you are (like the sink for example) which helps me alot because these are the kind of things I also focus on in cleaning, the details. I love that you're not afraid to show that yes things can get messy sometimes but it makes the cleaning so much more rewarding and I appreciate that! 🥰

Totally hear you on the decluttering videos. I have done some of those, and it is actually easier to divulge medical information than it is to explain what, or why, or how on the decluttering. I found that the minimalism game was a great way to kind of jump start the year in January, but even doing those, I would just do a quote of some sort and show what I decluttered.... definitely easier than trying to record why or how I was finding stuff.

We have the LG Opal nugget ice maker that sits on the countertop, but it has a water tank attached to it. It's not hooked into the water line like you would use for a refrigerator ice maker. We've had ours for a little over a year and we really like it.

Hi Michelle, I hope you are doing well 😊I like cleaning that way. Deep cleaning one room deeply each day. 😊 If I continue to clean this way and straighten up the other rooms each day, the house always stays clean & neat. I also like to make dinner when I make breakfast this way I only clean the kitchen once. I like to prep & cook one day & baking for the week the next. On those cooking & baking days I do laundry. I don’t have to watch the laundry other than switching the wet clothes into the dryer. I put the dry clothes on my bed this way I must fold and put them away so I can put the cleans sheets on my bed and make it. This system works for me. My husband helps with window washing & curtain washing . He will wash the rugs & vacuums the sunroom & sweeps the porches. He will dry dust the ceilings & woodwork.I love my dog. He is the best. I love all animals but I prefer dogs. We are retired so we work together. If I make a meal He cleans up the kitchen. If He makes a meal I clean up. With having food prepared ahead , it is a easy task. We love our home and we love taking care of it. ❤Until next time. Happy Fall. 🎉P.S. I currently have one dog, Vashni. His name means Gift from God which he is. The one thing I don't care about is that he is not a lover of cats. I love dogs and cats. I have a Kitchenaid Refrigerator. The ice maker has broken three times; two of those times it was under warranty, but the 3rd time we paid for it to be fixed which costs $372.00. I later got a countertop ice machine which I fill with water. I've had it for a little more than three years.

So much motivation!! 😍😍 As for the ice maker, common problem for Samsung kitchen appliances. my husband runs a small appliance technician company and has been working with appliances for over 20 years and he will tell you never to buy Samsung appliances unless you want him coming to repair them ever month lol! he says they are absolutely horrible. If you ever do consider buying a new one some time in the future, consider a different brand. He says LG is alright to buy. we have LG fridge and our oven and dishwasher are Frigidaire and 13 + years old and they still run perfectly. (I really really want a new oven though... the one with the low profile back and the knobs are on the front of the oven 😍). Your videos are so motivating I got up and cleaned my kitchen and main level of the house. ❤️❤️❤️🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Oh Michelle, you don't have to explain that your kids are.... OMG, KIDS! Listen, the messes will minimize as they get older and the important thing is the time you spend with them. My house was a disaster most days when my kids were little. We were always running around, having play dates, and just enjoying their childhood. It's exhausting. Now my home is tidy and clean more often than not. The difference isn't that I have more energy as I age, it's that my kids are much older and aware of their surroundings. So, keep the priorities you have. Your kids and family will be happier in the long run.

I have both dogs and cats I love them equally however taking care of them has the pros and cons for example cats are self-sufficient and dogs are not putting that aside I love them both to bits ❤

I bought my kiddos a Maltese/Shitzu pup & The people that were selling the pups were looking to re-home the mom dog so My mother got her & Now she’s mostly here w/ us at our home 😂 ❤️❤️ But they shed next to nothing! ❤

I have two golden retrievers and the hair is insaneeeee! BUT i would rather have their tumble weeds of hair, and having to vacuum every day than have a wirey haired dog thats hair weaves into everything... Some days I feel like I vacuum the couch 3x ! It's one of those cant live with or without them type things lol. My cordless Dyson has not been cutting it lately though so I may need to upgrade to the Tineco!

Hey Mindy, I did but one of the reasons I got them was because they were washable. I run of cold gentle cycle and close the zippers when I wash. I used to hang dry but they also do fine of delicate dry cycle
