Buen trabajo
@johnymoon86234 жыл бұрын
Que igual tiene su lógica,o hay alguna razón para hacer exterior y después interior, pero yo no sé la encuentro

Great job bro ! I’m currently building one of these it sat for like 5 years it was bought new from my mom and I have several sports/luxury cars including exotic but something about this passat I cannot let go I’ve literally spent countless hours on it built the engine and was in junk yards getting part replacements retrofitting ect it looks great inside I just need to paint it and some new wheels and I think she will be done, I wanted to mention you have quite the set up bro I’m surprised that car did not have any fading paint or clear coat but that’s cool the buttons usually get faded also peel but I bought a whole carbon fiber kit for that after I literally got all new buttons doors pannels latches latch releases I’ve don’t it all new leather new shifter boot leather every cover possible has been done ….. I have a lot of products I just don’t have the machines you use or sprayers I mean I have a drill with a polish adapter but where did you get all your stuff ?

Nice work. I like your strip-clean concept. Makes sense, once in a while. One question: I grew up on gravel and sand roads in Alberta. There were plenty of paved roads too but dust and grit accumulates on the window glass and is especially bad in freezing weather when sand and salt are spraying off the roads. In all the cars I knew, this was a recipe for scratching the glass as the window traveled down and up. You could hear it scaping, particularly in icy weather. The sand would get caught in the window scraper rubbers and continue to do damage. I had to clean it out. So cleaning the windows was a more involved job. Run the glass all the way down then use the proper tools and detergents to clean where the rubbers scrape the windows. And any vertical tracks too. I *never* see you online detailers do this. Why?
@MauriceNL14 жыл бұрын
Great job on claning the car. Personally if i was you i would even clean the interior air filter, it probably has a lot of dust and pines in it

Did you find it not necessary to chemically decontaminate the paintwork? At least in my personal experience, I always try to at least take care of iron deposits, especially on black cars. I guess it’s not always necessary and this detail wasn’t all about absolute perfection, but why not throw in the extra step if you’re going for a “2 step” polish and protection?
@maddetails4 жыл бұрын
I just clay barred instead it could have been iron decontaminated I personally don’t use those very often on cars like this since #1 they’re very expensive #2 the smell literally gives me an instant migraine clay works just fine IMO
@JTBlair-nw6gb4 жыл бұрын
It looked better dirty. 😅 That thing is rough! Nice work man. Why do you use the banana wax after all the hard work of correcting the paint? There's way better options out there.
@maddetails4 жыл бұрын
I just use spray wax to clean up and smudges and any over dressing or left over polish sling
