Same my early 00’s buick with 288,000 miles on it has one of the dirtiest carpets there could ever be in a car this carpet has had 15 or 20 years of super imbedded dirt and stains and even detergent at one point I think stuck in it(all that dirt and whatnot has been there for a long time)and this carpet had the fibers practically stuck together(that’s how bad it is in this car)so I really hope when we get our new house built my dad pulls the carpet out of that car and sprays the shit out of it with the pressure washer with some kind of soap or degreaser(obviously/no doubt) it makes the car look so ugly(with the carpet being dirty ya know?)(I’m actually kinda heartbroken about it cause I’m gonna be driving that car like that if we don’t pull the carpet and pressure wash it) that would suck

Unbelievable. It truly boggles the mind the condition of vehicles such as this. Your detailing and cleaning is phenomenal! Was this a client's vehicle? If so, show him the completed video, he/ she will be amazed. Impressive.

Congratulations on the new baby. Very satisfying watching your videos. As a former detailer I can appreciate your efforts. My only suggestion is that when cleaning wheels, pop off the wheel covers to clean the full wheel and also the makes it easier to clean and shine up the cover
@sharonbelisle5503 жыл бұрын
You have been greatly missed! “Congratulations”🎊🎈🍾🎉 on the addition to your family. I often wonder if the owners get a detailing just in order to get a higher trade-in price for another car? If so, will they treat the next car as badly as the last one?

I just bought a 2002 Excursion that had all sorts of soda/coffee spilled in it. I've extracted it twice until clear water is all I've been able to pull up... It keeps wicking from the pad underneath. The next time I extract it, I should see 95% or better. It's about 90% perfect as it is now.
@bbsal4031 Жыл бұрын
Shoot. Our 2001 needs a paint job. I think I need to start sanding on it. The 7.3 runs like a clock. All it needs is a nice paint job to bring it back to its glory.

Great job on this. I have an excursion and cannot imagine how long it will take to fully detail. We use it daily so going to paint correct and ceramic coat it 2 panels at a time. Maybe hit the interior detail in the spring.

that carpet structurally was in surprisingly good shape, i didn't see any major wear indicators, fraying, etc. After you got it clean, i'd say that carpet is a good candidate for carpet paint/dye job.

The fact people let their vehicle get this way and then show up and tell them "it needs just a quick vacuum" or "it's not that bad" and then it winds up like this in the video is just sad. Ain't that hard to vacuum your car every couple weeks and give it a good wipe down. Cars are like houses. Maintain, clean, repeat.

How can anyone let their car get so dirty that there are maggots in it? That is disgusting never mind unnecessary. And they are riding around in it too. What an amazing job you did.
