A king or queen size fitted sheet might work to put over the pool and a smaller size sheet to put over the water table to keep out the dirt etc.🌼 Tons of great cleaning motivation! 🌼

I just got 7 herbs to grow at home in the backyard. Eventually planning to get chickens if our HOA allows it. But I love your dinner ideas and I always have the itch to clean after your videos. We are planning to get tile put in our house instead of the carpet we have because it is hard to keep clean especially with my 16 month old. Have a great Memorial Day.

I have a house that has that glue down tile and I put abig rug in front of the front and back door because it helps with water and most of the mud i have 13 dogs they bring in alot i don't mop on rainy days but mop after all the mud. A person I watch uses outdoor patio rugs in side because she has 2 dogs and grandkids it drys quickly and easy to clean. I am trying to clean my living room today i move all my husbands tools and table saw and tomorrow i will dust and mop then put everything back and move the rest over the next day.we don't have a shed or a garage to put it in on the ranch we work at. So it's all inside so it doesn't walk away or get snowed on. Love your channel

I’m anxious to see what kind of rug you replace your current one. I have a shag one in our bedroom and at first it was so pretty and cozy but it didn’t last long. I want something neutral and durable. My kids are grown and gone but when they were little I did swim lessons, story time at the library, water works park and the lake with other moms. I’m going to try feta cheese on my avocado toast next time! Sounds yummy! Love little Oliver and Opie! Thanks for all the cleaning motivation. I have a home day care with a lot of traffic on my den rug. Bur Bur with a good rug pad if you want a cushier surface is great and long lasting. I actually got mine from Home Depot many years ago. We also don't wear shoes indoors. shoe traffic can cause so much dirt. especially for little crawlers .

Ok hear me out-I’m thinking the rug is attracting the dirty because there is way too much cleaning residue from the carpet shampooer. Some of the stuff you used is sooooooo concentrated and if it’s left in the carpet at all without rinsing and rinsing and rinsing-it will hold on to dirt like glue.

I was thinking the same thing with the fabric softener and Dawn dish soap in it. I bet you could go over your rug 3 times with just clean water in your carport cleaner and continue getting soap out if it and it’s the soapy stuff that attracts more dirt.

I wear socks all the time. They were getting so dirty from the floors that I started wearing slippers. We have the vinyl wood-look floors. I love them but they do get dirty fast. Also, maybe a nice indoor/outdoor rug. There are some nice options out there that are easier to clean.

If you go online to In The Swim , you can get get a small cover to put over his pool it is like 16.14 for a 4x8 solar cover!! Not sure what size you need but would help keep the water clean and also warm!!

Whew! Just sitting down to watch you after church and then working outside all morning. This will be relaxing for me now. Ha. It’s my first weekend of summer break and I have so much cleaning and organizing I want to do. After church we hit the garage. We both park in there and have our only storage in there. It was a project but feels so much better to have it done. We then went out back to clean out fence and get it ready to stain but our garden sprayer won’t work so we’re resting. Temps are fabulous here in Tennessee today. Perfect for outdoor work

Great cleaning motivation! Loved it! Floor game changer for us was to stop wearing shoes inside the house. Zero shoes. Our last house had light colored ceramic tile that looked a lot like travertine. Our current house has stained concrete. Both houses, our floors remain(ed) cleaned very well bc we never wear our shoes inside. We are a family of 7 so not wearing shoes inside helps tremendously with keeping the floors cleaner. We’ve been doing it for well over 10yrs now so it’s the only thing my kids know. Even when they go to other people’s houses it’s just habit for them, they remove their shoes.

Make a trip to NWA/Bentonville, go to the Amazeum, Crystal bridges, and downtown Bentonville has a ton of great restaurants and a splash pad for kids! It's a great area for a family day out!

For the socks, I do minimal colors/patterns/brands. For Nolan, all his are hanes black, white and gray. All Bella's are white cat and Jack. Most of mine are either black or white. I never pair our socks together unless there are a few unique pair. It saves so much time!

There are pool covers and tarps for his pool. I'd just cover the pool so you don't have to dump it every time. I love your little back patio area!

Happy Memorial Day weekend. May I suggest you get a seperate broom specifcally for outdoors and your garage. The bristles are stiffer, more sturdy, and you don't have to worry about anything caught in the bristles scratching up your indoor flooring. Been doing this for years and makes a difference.

We put a small little tykes slide into the wading pool when our twins were toddlers. So much fun! We would have picnics outside. There are instructions on Pinterest on how to make your own splash pad which we did one year for their birthday and all the kids just loved it!Regarding the rearrangement of the living room, what if you put the couch where the TV is now and moved the TV to the opposite wall where you were keeping the dog cage? Your living room would be much larger. You would have to walk through the living room to get to the kitchen but I think it would work! You could either leave the loveseat where it is or switch its location to where you see the back of it when you walk in the front door. Excited to see what you end up doing!!

I love that idea! I had a slip n slide at my birthday party every year growing up! We stuck our slide in the pool yesterday and I think it traumatized Oliver 😂❤️ I have thought about that are agents but the walls aren’t directly across from one another so it makes that hard! I also have the tile floors. Love the look I pick but cleaning them and keeping them that way is awful!! I got a comfy pair of flip flops and use them for house shoes. Wear only in the house!!!

Our grands are ages 4,3,2 & 1. They will all be with us on the 4th so I bought a huge water slide from Sams. 🙌🏻 The triple slide. 🇺🇸🍉🍔 We may attempt Magic Springs with them…not sure on that one yet! 🥴🤣
