Yes it’s a cattleguard and they are needed here if you own cows and Deere that run out prevents them from kicking in your lights and grille had it happen way too much

Emilio. We are located in KS and I would say about estimating 70% of the pickup trucks we see in have cattle guards/ranch hands like this on them. They’re legal, and very common, especially on 3/4 and 1 ton trucks (large turbo diesels). They’re more practical for farm use, as they prevent front end damage with animals being animals, landscape, brush, etc. Plus anyone who has ever driven down the road and had one on their truck and hit a deer knows they’re a great insurance policy!

Rotaries are pretty fun imo, because sometimes you can cut your correction time in half by using a rotary and finishing with a DA. You just have to know how to use a rotary or unless you can burn the paint😅
