Tq for sharing. I was told to remove the enhancer tank and the small ball at the point of water entry at the bottom of the machine (white hose only) first. It may differ for different area, I guess.

It would seem logical that you could use your own machine first to make the tub full of strong acidic water and then add your citric acid powder to that water for the deep clean. My own "off brand" water ionizer did not come with a cleaning cartridge so when I replaced my filter I cut the old one exactly in half with a hacksaw and removed all the charcoal and contents, cleaned up the cut edges and added PVC primer and PVC glue and joined the halves perfectly. It works perfectly for this deep cleaning. When this new ($100) filter needs replacing I will reinstall that hollow one and add a high quality, charcoal ($20) pre-filter that I can change more often without 100+ price tag. The one I had cut in half was a simple, charcoal filled filter with no more content than the water filter used in a fridge.

This video is regarding E-cleaning the device. In Deep Cleaning.. pressure control ball from the bottom of White pipe has to be removed...which this lady hasn't done. So...i feel this is a e-cleaning procedure. Experts correct me if I'm wrong.

Not supposed to use an aquarium pump and the seals can dissolve from the vinegar and attach themselves to the titanium plates and destroy your kangen. Need an acid pump.
