Follow the Bodies seems like an odd thing to take out.I wonder if they realize that when you sacrifice a clue it technically hits the graveyard, thus you can essentially sac a bunch of clues and create that many clues.

It cost 2 mana to sac each clue, so the question is how much mana you wanna spend doing that plus Follow the bodies. I think Officious Interrogation does the job better and it's more versatile. It only cost two mana and can be paid for more to multiply the amount of clues created.

Hornet Queen is essential in many deck as it stops all the big flyers attacking you while you do other things. It's a mana intensive deck so getting it shouldn't be a problem. I manged to win a game the other day ONLY because I had hornet queen and it's 4 other death touch flyers on the battlefield against a very aggressive dragon deck. I survived while all the other died. Having 5 death touch fliers on the play really stalls any flyers from attacking you! Cheers :)

Any of the cards that came out in this precon change the Urza chief artificer upgrades? Feels like the mass clue generation and draw would be really good includes?

I am working on this right now. I just upgraded the land base. It was bad. Working on the rest of the deck now

Perfect! The deck seems like a lot of fun!
@thriftypsgr7 ай бұрын
@@GuysThatMagic it does. Do you think it can be as powerful as merfolk?
@Skdrgn07 ай бұрын
@@thriftypsgr I don’t think so, Merfolks are pretty fast and powerful (also they just two colors instead of three), with this deck you can make crazy fields but not as fast, is pretty fun though, you can do a lot of things with cards where “second draw” matters
@thriftypsgr7 ай бұрын
@@Skdrgn0 I mean that makes sense and that is what I was thinking after the 5 times I played my deck with the couple of minor upgrades I did and the ones here. I feel like I you put the “good stuff” cards in then it definitely helps. Add rhystic study, smothering tithe, tpro, heroic intervention, cyc rift, and I think you can have a deck that will be a 7.5 but in some games will punch up to an 8.5.
@Skdrgn07 ай бұрын
@@thriftypsgr that's great, I thought you were talking more at precon level, my bad, but yeah, once you upgrade the deck, is pretty powerful

You guys really love Mondrak! I feel like every upgrade i've seen that had white included it in the deck hahahah. What about Ojer Taq?
@GuysThatMagic7 ай бұрын
We usually prefer Mondrak because of the ability to give itself indestructible and it’s cheaper. Ojer Taq is nice as it gives one extra token but sometimes we need to get it going quicker.
@treecko34537 ай бұрын
Ojer taq only copies creature tokens, so Mondrak is a better fit for clues
