We are thankful to still have you Lord and thank you so much for sending your son to die on the cross and save us from our sins. Thank you for forgiveness”. In Jesus name we have prayed , amen. I have super thick afro American hair and I've always had to deal with remarks and unpleasant sneering about my hair because it was so thick and long folks accused me of wearing wigs, I'm only saying this as a frame of reference. People always wanted to know what type of hair products I were using. At one time I was straightening and relaxing my hair in the same month because I knew nothing about maintaining my hair. Oil products weren't the magic elixir but I manage to wear afros for a period in my life. I used to press and burn my hair while having no concept that hair needed to be trimmed for style. My mom once took me to a barber for a completely radical cut in my younger days, as I never had the concept of long hair. She couldnot manage my thick course hair. Eventually in my teens i found a natural style with water and hair oil or grease. My dad used shortening when he wanted his hair straight. Anyway my natural style worked for me during the time natural style were not very popular. After securing a regular income i were able to get my hair done in a salon by various beauticians, I loved short cuts and the layers back then. I stopped using oil in my hair for years enjoying the flowing hair. Eventually I started back wearing my hair long because it was easier to maintain. Most people thought my husband married me because I had long hair. Silly, my hair was so short when I met him, he like me, my short cut was very flattering and customed asymmetrical bomb doing that time. We eventually married. I was always asked who did my hair. I say all that to say"love and embrace you" this "good hair" "bad Hair" is bologna. I believe hair is a frame for your face that will dominate or set our look. Learn your hair texture then find similar hair texture regimens if you aren't blessed with a experience hair mom, aunt cousin or grandmother ect. Those loving us and closest to us usually have going down that hair Avenue with tried and true results. Value your hair and its texture regardless if Betty down the street has European long hair. What and how we did our hair before weaves were some of the most beautiful styles and codes yet we still get snagged into seeing our course hair a problem. European hair styles last for one day, we do African American hair styles and they last for days or weeks. We may not have the benefits of a hair to toe shower or a great daily swim or as a Gabby Douglas hair swells out during workouts or performances it's all good. Love the kinks for better or worst. Take healthy lifestyles and nutrition and your hair will be fine. Soap oil and water promises healthy hair. Rubber bands or clips, certain brushes damages hair and will break hair as well as brittle hair will break. Feel you natural hair texture and it will tell you what it needs. Drink water. Love you in a healthy way, don't slide down a different path wanting something unnatural and disdaining what God blessed you with. You are beautiful!

The problem isn’t growth the problem is length retention. Your hair grows but manipulating it often breaks off hair so you think your hair isn’t growing when in reality you need to leave it alone . Adopt a hair regiment and wear protective styling that retains length. I’m three months in and my hair is healthier, thicker, & my growth is staying. You also have to be realistic and patient no product grows long hair in a week. Retention is a process you won’t see any real results for months but its working trust me

@@daniellebryan2221 GIRL! It’s because if you don’t have “long” hair people won’t believe nor listen to you because black natural hair has been marketed to us as long natural hair is the only beautiful kind and has programmed people to be length obsessed & product obsessed over healthy hair obsessed. Some of these natural hair gurus prey on that and put these ridiculous vids claiming a product grew their hair that length or that you need hundreds of products when in reality it took creating a regimen and months even years. Glad I grew wiser and started actually taking care of it and the retention is coming naturally then just not really taking care of it and believe a product will give me floor length in a week

Our hair is curly and special. It’s alive. It has nerve endings and you can feel it when someone touches your hair. Please don’t burn and add chemicals to your hair as you are killing it. Don’t try to straighten it. You are the chosen children of Yah. Our Messiah Yashua Hamashiach has wooly curly hair, not straight fur. Protect your natural hair, feed it . Shalom.

Then it's 4b or? I thought we aren't supposed to use the dry state of our hair to determine it's texture.

Can we please have the recipe for the Blackseed oil and the rosemary + aloe vera oil
@claurenwilliams29294 жыл бұрын
Hi, thank you for sharing those useful tips with us. Can you please tell me what type of hair porosity you have? Have you ever done a porosity hair test? I want to try this treatment but I have low porosity hair will that treatment be good for my hair type? I search and finds out aloe vera is not good for low porosity hair since aloe vera will make the hair cuticles tighter and with low porosity hair that's already a big problem. What do you think?
@yewandeakinola88334 жыл бұрын
Thanks Clauran for asking this question, my hair too is low porosity
@claurenwilliams29294 жыл бұрын
Gm Yewande, thank you very much for answering my question. So since you used alo in almost everything you do for your hair it don't do any bad to your hair? cause I heard aloe vera is not good for low porosity hair

Could this DIY conditioner be used for beards? I can somehow manage a decent hair growth. But I would love to stimulate my beard growth a lot more. In terms of beard, I’m a slow grower. Want to know your thoughts on if you think this would work for men and their facial hair.
