CSW Dub techno uses this special type of chord/stab, and is a bit more repetitive than deep house...do you have specific songs this reminds you of?

The stuff that plays around 1:25:15 reminds me so much of what was coming out of Restructured, especially the Shapes & Forms "Blueprint", tracks like "Cygnus" and "Shifter".

Dub came from reggae first and used many reverb, echo and distorted effects (on reggae songs). So dub techno is just taking these effects to (mostly) minimal techno structure giving it deep, sludged atmosphere. Rhythm is (nearly) always covered by dub sounds.
