Little tip… when pulling the eggs out of the oil, turn them cut side (hole side) down while they cool. Helps prevent any excess oil from getting caught inside

My daughter made Avocado Deviled Eggs for 4-H. Lime juice and hot sauce instead of the mayo and mustard, the avocados give the eggs the creamy texture. Immersion blender makes quick work when you’re cooking a big batch.

Looks awesome. I was going to make deviled eggs for easter anyway so I may as well make these. I am adding bacon cheeseburgers egg rolls with home made 1000 island dressing on the side, along with lamb dolmades with tzatziki sauce and fried and flambéed Greek cheese saganaki. no main course just appetizers so we can eat when we want to and enjoy each other company. Great recipe to add to my collection.

I made your recipe and it's very good . The Cajun in Me took over the second time and I put creole mustard in the yolk mixture and I used duck eggs . I added crumbled blue cheese and bacon bits with a dusting of sweet smoked paprika . Try that one

Sounds awesome! One suggestion given you smoke meats, smoke the eggs first after hard boiling. I used a hickory/maple/cherry pellet blend that gave the deviled eggs an amazing sweet smokey flavor.

LOVE MEAT CHURCH!! My one step addition we do it with our deviled eggs is smoke them. I would add in make your hard eggs then cold smoke the whites 10 minutes possibly more (depending what you smoke with). I will FOR SURE be trying this though!!

Another tip is to put the yolks, mayo and other seasonings into a ziplock. Mash and mix in the bag and when done cut tip off corner of bag and pipe into egg whites.

Yummm! I grew up in Boston, and we always used Hellmann's mayo, but since living in Indiana since 2011, things change, and I'm an official Duke's fan now! I love this, just subbed, and Deviled eggs have always been my favorite too around the holidays, and sometimes whenever! I could also eat the whole dozen if someone doesn't pry me away lol. Thanks, and Happy Easter! Edit: you mentioned pork panko, but I'm a fan of chicharrones, so I finely blend them to use as breading for a low carb meal. 😉

This is a good twist on a tasty classic - also our family did dry-rub smoked ribs and smoked ham in our smoker - the ribs were a new addition this year and will be staying, going to add something new every year to grow the table further or at least tweak some dishes.

Try the roll technique for cutting the eggs. set the knife into the white (long ways), and push away for a full rotation. You will cut time in half pulling out the yolk, as they should remain fully intact on one half of the egg white.
