I consider my air fryer a really fast oven. It's the best when it comes to frozen foods you want crunchy (chicken nuggets, tacquitos, frozen fries, etc)! great for drunk foods

Especially if you marinate chicken wings and put them in there without flour the skin gets so crispy and the inside stays super juicy

2 things that may have affected the results: 1. Lilly might not have fried her foods correctly (no shade, just facts) making them more oily. 2. Since you used crescent rolls, which are meant to be baked, instead of a batter, everything probably tastes better in the air fryer since it's basically just a hot oven. I think you should try this again, but with batter and maybe hotter oil?

I was going to say the same thing. Crescent rolls are meant to be baked, so they have all the oils they need in them to not be dry when baked and just... perfect as they are. The fries were a better example that frying is better if you want that fried effect.

Also you CAN add oil in the air fryer. I make won tons and I always coat them in melted vegan butter because if I'm going to eat vegan cream cheese filled won tons, I might as well. Recommended eats: quesadillas, brussel sprouts coated with oil and vinegar, battered cauliflower, fried rice, and basically anything you would bake that will fit. An air fryer is faster than an oven or a frying pan and is better in my opinion. Glad you guys enjoyed it.

When I got my air fryer (it was free) I didn't think it would be something I would use all that often, but my gawd it's amazing. Anything from the frozen section on a lazy day thrown in the air fryer. Minimal clean up. A true blessing.

I make homemade french fries in my air fryer all the time. You have to cook them a bit longer but they come out delicious and super crunchy. I slice my potatoes, put them in a bowl and spritz them with olive oil, sprinkle some salt and paprika on them and mix. Yum. I know a lot of people who go through the trouble of blanching them and then air frying them. Um, not me. I did notice, however, that they get crispier in my Brio NuWave Air Fryer, and they aren't as crispy in my Cook's Essential's Air Fryer. I think the mesh basket in the Brio makes the difference in the air circulating better, re: crunchier fries. Probably way more info than you wanted. hehe

We have an air fryer at my house and we use it more than our oven. We always use it to cook oven foods like chicken strips, french fries, tater tots, etc. The other day we even put a pork loin in the fryer (we had to cut it in half and cook them one at a time) and it honestly tasted better in there than it normally does in the oven.

I absolutely LOVE my Air Fryer. Once I tried it, it was the only thing I used. I stopped frying things in oil cause the air fryer was better. I even bought myself the Air Fryer Oven...and stopped using my actual oven cause the Air Oven was easier 😄 I noticed that making baked chicken was easier and turned out better and makes for an easier clean up. Incidentally the fries would have turned out better if you cooked them by themselves at the proper time. They actually come out very good. I like to season mine first before cooking. ☺
