Bloody damn brilliant I say! I have never heard anyone attempt to cover this song, until right now with you. That organ sounds so good. You went for the note for note treatment, but you also added a few flourishes, just to make it your own. Excellent job.

Lord was a master in creating great Hammond sounds even before he made history by putting it through a Marshall stack. Purple MK1 was an amazing period, I especially like this one, The Bird has Flown and Why Didn’t Rosemary. Phenomenal job once again!

thats right! He played soo goood. Solos not overdubed, just one take and that was it! Marshall yes, it was something different and in his playing not worse. He could play so good as with a leslie.

You're getting an awesome sound out of that A100. Is amplification from only the Leslie, or is it running through the Fender amp also? Just enough growl to sound mean, and clean enough for the tone of your Hammond to get through so you can hear its texture and tone. It looks like most drawbars are all the way out for the upper manual. Superb!

Congrats, but I disagree with the organ playing of the refrain. There are sustained harmonies on the lower manual. I love playing Blind, Lalena, The Painter 🙂

Tomasz, you did such a great job on this song from their 3rd album, I'm curious what you could do with the song "The Bird it Has Flown", or at the very least the middle organ solo. I tried my hand at just the organ solo (without reverb); 4 years ago (21 AUG 2020); but I just don't think I did it a justice. I had some hard edits that are rather obvious, in order to cover up the audio mistakes. I wonder if I show you my video, can you improve on it, and please play a version in your own style?
