Correct me if I'm wrong, but neither current CD's or iTunes have the wolf howls in them.
This is the original mono mix as heard when this was a huge hit on AM Top 40 radio on stations like WABC New York.

CD's and MP3's are simply no match for the raw powerful sound that only vinyl can give you, and this record is indeed proof of that! Please note that to really experience vinyl in it's best sounding form is directly from a good sound system. Since this record was obviously digitized to convert to KZbin format, some of that great vinyl sound is lost in the conversion.

That's why the only music I buy is used vinyl off eBay. Don't have to worry about ridiculous remasters and enjoy the music as it was originally intended. All my Purple records are on vinyl. 1 of my all time favorite bands, Blackmore is my favorite guitarist. Rod Evans was underrated as was 'Captain Beyond' and I'm still fascinated with his disappearance.

WABCRADIO77 even if it’s re-digitalized, it still sounds better (if done right) than any 720p mp3. And of course you need a good setup, and for late at night , good quality headphones.

KZbin now allows 192kbits 44khz so you don't really lose much if you upload in high quality audio and have a nice little phono preamp and ADC, it's gotten so much better since this was uploaded and it's a hell of a lot easier to do since these things are small boxes and professional quality for relatively cheap.

The songs are fantastic just the way I remember them being played on WABC music radio 77 long may these songs reign I loved all the DJs at WABC Dan Ingram Ron Lundy chuck Leonard Harry Harrison and the rest of the gang !!!! Actually. I myself view this video and others as educational. It demonstrates what a nice mono mix 45 RECORD sounds like, which is btw is 100 percent unavailable for new consumer purchase. He also educates to what top 40 radio stations like WABC played on the air. I see no copyright violation at all. In fact. I think I will go out right now and by a Deep Purple CD. See, some corporation will make money from some dude's video. Seems like a WIN for the company to me.

One of my all time favorites!! Nothing beats the original "hot" mono mix of this record either. I found a near mint original copy of "Hush" about a year ago. Recently discovered that some copies of the US Tetragrammton 45 actually came with a picture sleeve with artwork similar to the LP.

Warner (along with other music labels) and KZbin negotiated an understanding years ago, regarding the use of their music in user videos. By his own account, this user was already penalized, but the agreement allowed him to re-post his collection. BTW, the original label, Tetragrammaton, was co-founded by Bill Cosby, his manager at the time Roy Silver, and 2 partners. The word refers to the Hebrew identification of the Lord. When the label folded, the masters were leased to WB.

I kinda disagree to a point. This particular version of the record, though the original US press, is styrene and is not the best way to get the sound, and the styrene loses some of the sound quality with every play. I can hear it in this audio. My local record store has like 8 new original copies of this song on this label and I wont touch it. Im going to try to find a non styrene import of this original version, so I wont lose any sound quality.

What’s interesting is that the Tetragrammaton label was founded by Bill Cosby and three others. He only released on album called “8:15 - 12:15” as a double album and John Lennon & Yoko Ono’s “Unfinished Music #1: Two Virgins” with the controversial cover of John & Yoko where they had no clothes.

I'm not sure but I think that since he owns the record he is playing and he is only recording himself playing a record that he owns they really can't say anything about it as long as he credits the creators of that record, which he did. Besides if you look to the sidebar you can see that this song is uploaded by perhaps twenty other people so why harsh WABCRADIO77 fun. He gets maybe a hundred views. He isn't making any money off this.
