Bon concert avec un Ritchie et un JLT (le reste du groupe rien à redire, comme d'habitude) en forme mais dommage pour la balance.

The band sounds better than on the previous two tours. Ritchie Blackmore is more inspired, he plays far better, more melodic. That '91 tour was good (I often listen ther better bootlegs of ths tour) but it wasn't really Deep Purple. Joe Lynn Turner's voice is not suitable. It's neither rock'n'roll nor blues. He is a very good pop or Rock FM singer. Respect for him.

A breath of fresh air after the disaster of House Of Blue Light. Joe sings better than Gillan. The band sounds better too. Yes JLT is opinionated but that doesn't mean he's wrong: he pissed off Gillans fans with the "respect for the dead" comment but he didn't mean it in the way it was taken.

Not sure what you re referring to but I recall an other incident(Probably during Rainbowdays)where RB and I think Rondinelli sat in front in the dark throwing stuff at him,(JLT) making jim angry where he allegedly yelled : You French bastards!!!!

@@jonblackers4339 Everything is learned with time. Now JLT is performing concerts in fascist ruSSia , when all normal artists (including DP) have cancelled all their concerts there because of the war in Ukraine!

@@DavidGarrick1515 I m one of these chappies that does not admire Putin but understands , yeah that impopular theory, that he was provoked by ever closer coming NATO . JLT has a Russian wife and Deep Purple like music, I think cause eastern Europe has a thing with classical music, a lot of fans there to please. I almost saw him solo years agin my country, the Netherlands, but it was cancelled. Soundwise I always thought JLT wasnt in shape during S AND M tour but recent yt boots I heard where much better, so..... Maybe I had back luck, even though I saw 3 shows way back. I m sure , never been there though, that Russia is not what we think it is. But maybe I m wrong. Its ironic, I m against that war , esp it costs us Europeans a lot of wealth. And I think Ukraine wont win. All of a sudden, I m with this stance in the corner of alleged bad people. We 'll ve to await the outcomes. I hope Trump will lead us out of a terrible scenario cooked up by warmongers Obama and Biden. On the other hand I am pro Israel, against Islam and thing called Fakestina. My views make people think I m far right, weird, I ve always been a longhaired rocker with leftist ideas.
