Without a doubt, "Loosen My Strings", by the biggest Classic Rock group in the world, Deep Purple, is one of their best songs. The best is impossible to say. If you quote "Highway Star", "Black Night", "Perfect Strangers", "Burn", "Stormbringer" and 20 more, someone will still say "you forgot the super classic Smoke on the Water". With reason. You should never pick just 20 or 30 of your songs as the best. All are BETTER. It's like having to choose who's the best DP musician. Ian Gillan? John Lord? David Coverdale ? Steve Morse ? Ritchie Blackmore ? Not. ALL are the best!
