The Surprising is my favorite track on Infinite! I got to meet DP (for the second time) during the Long Goodbye Tour. What an amazing band, and equally amazing guys.... so friendly and so accommodating! One of the reason's I've been a fan since 1973!!!

He has osteo-arthritis in his hand. He uses a pain-killing gel and then the strapping. If you watch the full video of the Infinite sessions, (From Here to Infinite) there is a very poignant scene where he explains this and he wonders for how much longer he will be able to continue playing . . . as he says, the one thing he has done in his life for 50+ years.
