Hi, I heard that you can add oil in the mixture so that your hair wont be dry. Is that true?
@TheHennaGuys11 ай бұрын
Although you may add oil in the mixture, we recommend you apply the oil after your henna application. You want your hair to absorb as much henna. Adding too many ingredients will affect the color process.

How will deep red look on jet black hair
@TheHennaGuys2 жыл бұрын
Since henna can't lighten hair, the deep red will most likely come in undertones that can be seen in sunlight.

Can you leave henna overnight and rinse in the morning or 3 hours is best?
@TheHennaGuys Жыл бұрын
You can leave it in for that long if you want. Make sure to keep the henna covered and remember the longer, the deeper the stain.

Amazing video! I have some questions since I plan on dying my hair burgundy with your henna. I’m a black girl with thick, short hair that reaches my shoulders. My hair is a dark brown. I’m wondering, should I use both the hibiscus tea and lemon juice in the henna powder or should I just use lemon juice only since my hair is so dark? And what essential oil would you recommend for the color to pop more?

Thank you! Would recommend using lemon juice for sure to help with the color tone. Hibiscus will be a good idea as well:) I personally have dark brown hair and only. mix with lemon juice to get red tints in the light. Hope this helps!

Hello, I watch this video every time I apply your henna as reference. I think elsewhere you mentioned that the red colors turn a lot lighter on bleached strands? I have also noticed that it fades kind of fast-ish for me and it’s really annoying. For context, I have bleached highlights. This is my third time doing henna (I mixed organic raspberry hibiscus tea with 1/8 cup of lemon juice for my last dye job-best results yet!) The contrasting auburn from my brown with the lighter red streaks is beautiful, but what can I do to make it fade more not as quickly? I already wash it only when it is greasy and stay out of the sun as much as possible. Do you have any specific recommendations? Thank you :)

How many applications of henna would it take before dark brown hair starts to show a noticeable shade of red?
@TheHennaGuys Жыл бұрын
Henna cannot lighten hair and with having dark brown hair, it might only show hints of color. This model had medium brown hair that was a thinner texture, and picked up the color after 2- 3 applications of Deep Red.

Looks like you used a metal whisk. Why do some say No metal and others say Okay to use metal?
@TheHennaGuys5 ай бұрын
Henna can oxidize on to certain metals, staining them.

Henna does dye dark hair perfectly.. Kevin juice is way too drying for most
@TheHennaGuys Жыл бұрын
Yes, if you find lemon juice or apple cider vinegar is too drying for your hair, do not add them in. You can still get color by using coffee, water or tea.
