Deep Rising wasn't brilliant, but it knew what it was. Mindless campy fun. I've always enjoyed this movie.

Glad they never got those big name stars, it wouldn't be the cult classic we now have.

I enjoy this channel immensely. I’ve binge watched every video since finding your channel two days ago. Keeping this in mind, I offer this small constructive critique to improve your communication skills: read about the “subjunctive mood in English.” Typically, whenever you begin a sentence with “I wish” or “If” you need to use “were” rather than “was.” An easy pneumonic for this is “Ify wishy were.” For example, “If I was wealthier, I’d buy a Lambo” is incorrect. Rather the sentence should read, “If I WERE wealthier, I’d buy a Lambo.”

Your channel is awesome!! I’ll have to give this one a watch, looks like one of those 90s horror sci fi films which I like. But for 1998 this cgi for the film looks good, and another great film from the late 90s which has pretty good cgi is The Mummy with Brendan Fraser. Great video, keep up the great work!

I used to think the final shot in the movie was the inspiration for "Lost."

This movie just left you in a Cliff Hanger. A rare flick that Desevers a Sequel. There way to many Unanswered Questions "What was that thing at the End?? Was it a New Speices of Graboid?" It's like that 2009 movie "Infestation," that leaves you at the cliff and walks away.

Easily Steven Sommers best film. It's the least badly afflicted by his weakness for cornball humour, and has a more focussed narrative. It still suffers from many of his trademark deficiencies - cardboard characters, campy overacting, noisy and chaotic action scenes, and Kevin J. O'Connor in a comic relief sidekick role - but retains a better balance of tone and manages not to completely collapse under the weight of its own bloated excess.
